Chapter 1- Windy Day

Its a very windy day in the city of london my brown hair was swept by a very strong wind causing all my papers fly around.Annoyed, I picked up every piece of paper that scattered and started walking towards the school building.

"Ahh,there you are!" Mr.Brooks smiled exposing his very wrinkly cheeks towards me

"Hello there Mr.Brooks" I shot a fake smile at him

''Doing something this vacation?'' he asked gathering all the folders on the top of his table.

''Yep. Just searching for a sideline work Mr.Brooks,you know I could use those extra money for my college and stuff instead asking from my parents'' I smiled

''Oh,uhm mr.brooks here are my school files that you needed'' I hand him a white clean folder that contains all the files.

''thanks and here's the package for your mom and by the way I know someone that can lend you a work Nicole'' he smiles while putting the white folders on one of his boxes.

''Awesome!thanks mr.brooks''

''Sure Im very happy to help'' he patted my shoulder

''thanks again mr.brooks got to go now bye'' I waved at him goodbye while carrying the packages

''ok bye!'' he waved goodbye at me

After that I exited the building walking towards our house which is a few blocks away from our school

''Hey Nikki'' someone call behind me

I turn to see Jeremy! my bestfriend since 7th grade

''hey Jeremy what are you doing here?'' I asked

''uhm. .you see uhh. .I have a d-date'' he suttered scratching the nape of his neck

''awww. my little Jeremy is a grown man now'' I said in a baby tone while poking his stomach

''stop it Nikki'' he spanked my hand away

''Oww. so is that the girl that your talking about?'' I asked pointing at the girl who is sitting in a bench across the street I cant see her face though because she was facing her back towards us.

''Yeah'' he smiled. I can see those sparks in his eyes when I point at the 'girl'

''Ohhh. .So dont mess it up this time bro'' I patted his shoulders while giggling at him

''hey! Im not that bad when it comes to girls'' he whined

''aww, really Jeremy? haha ok I need to go now bye!'' I smiled

''but you need to meet my date'' he begged giving me his puppy eyes

''maybe next time Jeremy, I really need to go now.Sorry'' I apologized

He sighed ''Okay then,bye!''
