" Sandra. What holiday is it?" I ask
" thanksgiving," she replied
I knew all about that holiday.
My mother ( before I killed her) made us a turkey every year.
I still have nightmares about the holiday.
* flash back*
" " Now Liu! Go easy on the mashed potatoes." Mom said
" ok. Sorry. I just love them. Jeff p, don't you like mashed potatoes?" He asked eyeballing my plate.
" Ya." I said as I piled mashed potatoes and turkey on my plate.
Happy? I thought to myself.
Dad came in with an armload of stuffing
" Dig in!" He told us.
That's what we did.
When everything was aten, we stood up.
" thank you lord for this holiday dinner. It was a delight for me and my wonderful family." Mom prayed
She prayes at every special occasion.
Even a birthday,
* flashback gone*
" Jeff? JEFF!!" Maya was shaking me.
" what? Where am I? H- how did I get here?" I asked puzzled
" Pineapple Airport. It's-"
The loud speaker came on
" Sandra Collins. You and your friends flight is ready."
" bye Jeff. I'll be home soon, I promise,"
After that she hugged and kissed me.
Right on my lips.
" ewe" I heard people say,
But I didn't care,
* home*
" OH MY GOD JEFF WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Slender exclaimed.
" yea. We've been all over town shouting your name. We even filed a police report." Sally said
" Wow. I'm sorry guys, I was at the airport, I'm sorry I made you worry like that." I apologized
" Just please. Next time you leave for that long, tell one of us." Slender said
" ok." Was all I said
I flopped on my bed and sighed
" I wish Sandra didn't have to go see her family." I complained
I made my reflection nod.
" do you ever miss anyone?" I ask my reflection
I made him nod again.
