A Short Time

Before bed

Harry and Hermione were shown to their beds. Sirius smiled at his God-son as they got in their beds. They were sharing a room. "By the time you leave Harry, I will be going with you" said Sirius.

Harry just smiled back sadly. He wanted Sirius to go with him but, he knew Sirius couldn't come. "Sorry, Sirius. It has to be me and I choose who came with me" Harry said.

Sirius barked out a laugh. "More like they told you that they were coming with you" Sirius said.

Harry couldn't argue with that. It was the truth, "Your right" he said smiling.

Hermione settled into her bed smiling. She was well feed and felt better. "Lily can we talk?" Hermione asked.

Lily sat up making sure not to wake James. He was already passed out. "Sure, Hermione, what about?" She asked.

Hermione smiled as she pulled up covers to her. "Well, when did you know James was the one? There is a guy I like and I just don't know anymore" said Hermione.

Lily laughed. "It wasn't until seventh year and he had changed. James grew up and I started to date him. We were in love very much" said Lily.

Hermione smiled. "So you like Ron? Harry says that you two fight all the time" Lily finished.

"Yes I do love him but, he is so childish at times. Like now, he left us just because he couldn't hack it any more" Hermione said crying.

Lily got up and put an arm around Hermione. She laid her head down on Lily. "He will come around. Ron just needs time. I bet it is tough on him. He has never had to rough it like you and Harry" Lily said wisely.

Soon Lily went back to her bed smiling. Hermione fell asleep with dried eyes. She felt better. Remus and Tonks were sitting in bed. "How long do you think Harry and Hermione will stay?" Asked Tonks.

"A few days at most. Harry probably just needed a place to rest" said Remus turning to look at his wife.

She smiled at him. Tonks snuggled up to Remus. He put his arm around her. "Well, he can stay as long as he likes. I feel better knowing he is here" said Tonks.

"So do I" Remus said.

Harry knocked on the door of their room. Sirius had fallen asleep. "Come in" Tonks replied.

Harry walked in and saw stuff all over the room. The walls were Hufflepuff colors and so were the bed sheets. "Did you need something, Harry?" Remus asked.

Harry sifted from one foot to the other and he was playing with his hands. "Well, I was hoping we could talk" Harry said.

Remus removed his hand from around Tonks who had fallen asleep. "Sure let's go talk" said Remus.

They left the room. Remus closing the door quietly. They walked down the hall out out the back door. "So" said Remus.

"Sorry about the way I acted. It was wrong of me to tell that stuff sat you" said Harry frowning.

"Harry, you had every right. I ran for a reason and you saw it. I am glad that you made me see sense. Harry I thank you" said Remus smiling.

Harry looked up at the sky which was clear as day. "You two seem happy" Harry replied.

Remus smirked as he looked at the sky as well. "Yes we are. I am thrilled with becoming a father."
