Chapter 16 ( The New Family )

Thomas: Hey Mia.
Mia: Yeah Thomas?
Thomas: You have a YouTube channel right?
Mia: Oh yeah, why..?
Thomas: Well I was thinking about this ever since I saw you again. But is it okay if me, you, Ben, Olivia, Abbie, and Lauren do a collab channel?
Mia: I'd love to do that! But we need one more person.
Abbie: How bout Weston?
Mia: No, we can't do Weston he already has his own collab channel.
Abbie: Oh yeah I forgot... He's part of Our Journey.
Mia: I have no other choice, do u think a fan could help us out?
Thomas: A fan?!?! Mia, why can't you do people at school.
Mia: Me and Ben, we can't make any friends. People just give us glares.
Thomas: Yeah ok, we'll go find a fan.
Mia: I'll send a tweet out and also a YouTube video.
Thomas: Sounds good.

Mia's Tweet: Hey y'all I just wanted to tell you me, Ben, and my really close 4 friends are doing a collab channel. We need one more person. So if you live near Greensboro, North Carolina then come visit me at Panera at around 5:30.

Mia's YouTube video: What's up YouTube. So me and my friends are looking for an extra person for our new collab channel. It's going to be called " Our New Family ". So we're currently picking days. Here on Mondays is BEN!! Tuesday's will be Olivia. Wednesday's will be Lauren. Thursday's will be me. Friday's will be my friend Thomas. And Sunday will be Abbie. We're looking for a fan that lives near or in Greensboro, North Carolina. We'll be at Panera at 5:30 to see who can do it for us. See you all later, bye.

Mia: Woah it's so crowded here!!
Thomas: I didn't know you and Ben had this many fans.
Mia: Well, we are pretty famous.
Ben: Okay everyone, I would like you all to get in a line. We'll be taking pics with you guys if you want.
Fans: YAY!
Mia: Ben, we should've just run a contest on Instagram.
Ben: Oh yeah, I'll announce it.
Ben: Change of plans everybody. Me and Mia ourselves will pick the winner. So nobody leave.
Mia: We'll need two lines. Also, sorry for the girls out there. But we'd like a boy fan. * only 15 fanboys *
Fanboy #1: Hello Mia and Ben Jackson, the reason I'd like to join this collab channel is to make new friends. And meet wonderful people. Plus Saturday is my favorite day of the week.
Mia: I don't have all day. So I'll just pick you I guess. Come with us.
Fanboy #1: Yay!
Ben: First of all, what is your name?
Fanboy #1: My name is Jack Douglas. I'm a 15 year old at Greensboro High.
Ben: Nice to meet you Jack, I'm Ben. And this is my older sister Mia.
Mia: Nice to meet you.
Jack: Nice to meet you too, so today is...
Abbie: Today is Sunday, but Ben will start recording tomorrow. He'll teach you how to edit and a bunch of stuff. So meet us at the baseball field next to Panera. Tomorrow at around 4:30.
Jack: Okay, see you all later then. But before I go... Can I take some pics?
Mia: Of course.

Ben: Bye Jack!! Have a nice day!!
Jack: You too!! And thanks for everything.

Okay I agree that this chapter has nothing to do with Weston. But there's tons to come in the next chapter. And at least you can explore Mia's life a bit more. Also make sure you look at the video up top 😇.
