During their first trip to Itachi's Kingdom, Sasuke was true to his words. He made Naruto's life very difficult while making sure they didn't trace it back to him. Although it was obvious 'cause he is the only one who would be happy whenever Naruto was sad. Iruka would have to walk into a room first just in case something stinky fell from above. Or look at the clothes in case there were bugs. These were just in the morning. But Naruto was well known in the Fox Kingdom for his pranks. But Naruto didn't know who did the pranks so he just pranked anyone he saw. This is when Kyuubi and Itachi stepped in. They discussed when Sasuke was in earshot what would happen to the person who pranked Naruto was caught. The pranks on Naruto didn't stopped just the were petty things and Naruto just shrugged them off. Kyuubi and Naruto left without much trouble. With the two foxes gone, Sasuke had to plan what to make Naruto's visit trouble next year. While Itachi had to plan ahead to stop whatever Sasuke was planning.
