One Kiss

"Alexis wake up!!" my friend Katrina is yelling again with the top of her voice.

"Okey! I'm awake can you stop shouting now".

Ever since I moved out in my parents house in Beverly Hills because of some misunderstanding of my dad who wants me to become a lawyer to continue the family's legacy this has been my daily routine, waking with the noise of Katrina my high-school best friend and apparently my roommate.

I've been working at a local cafe and at the same time studying fashion designing while Katrina studies culinary.

"So what's up for today Lex? she asked while looking in her cookbook.

"Nothing new, same as before school and work. You?

"Same" she answered.

"So any solutions for your current problem lex?"

"Hmm..actually I'm looking for a new job right now while I'm studying..what you think Kat?"

"Well, that's a good idea..see you

later lex."

"Okey gonna go, take care Kat". For today I'm wearing my black jacket with a white skirt and black top and a high knee boots.

I dont really think that finding for a job in the city will be as easy as for a girl like me especially that my parents are not behind my back every step of the way.

While skimming for the newspaper, I found something interesting a new job which seems to be perfect for me and my schedule. I smiled with such happiness in my heart while I'm on my way to the said building.

"Hey you! I mean you."a deep baritone voice was shouting behind my back.

In my mind I was wondering if this guy knows the word etiquette or manners perhaps.

"Are you daydreaming Miss. The girl with a black jacket and a bootie" he said while taking a deep breath with the last word.

Hearing those words make my temper rise but I still put myself in control while turning my back.

"Yes? I smirk with the guy who was wearing a business suit from Armani - the usual thing I saw with my dad. In all fairness he looks like a male model for a Calvin Klein who has sent down to the runway to annoy me. Looking at him with such an admiration with a little bit of confusion he arched his brows and smiled at me.

"Hey Miss. I know that Im a good looking guy but before that I need you to give me a hand for this" he said while pulling a briefcase and handed it to my hand.

The nerve of this guy. I'm Alexis Shane Wilson one the most popular and rich kid in town or shall I say -was- before I run from my dad's shadow.

"That briefcase wont bring himself to the 16th floor Miss"he said while bringing another two briefcase.

"Carry it your self. I don't know who the heck are you" I replied while looking at him.

"Okey. I"ll pay you for a 300 for that" he said.

Well, in terms of money I really need it right now. So I agreed while assessing him if his kinda safe and also the place.

"Okey Mr. but you need to pay me first" while extending my hand for the said amount.

He give me the money without a word and entered the building. I followed his way up to the said floor.

In my mind I remembered something - my main purpose I need to go to the ground floor to ask for Ms. Gray for the said job a part time chambermaid. It may not be a dream job for me but its a necessity in this time of my financial crisis.

"Thanks just leave it there" he said awaking my self from thinking of my current situation.

"Okey, I run for the elevator and went to the ground to ask for Ms. Gray.

"Just wait for a little while she will be here for a moment" the girl with a black hair replied.

For a few minutes a woman wearing a blue skirt with a white printed blouse arrived.

"Are you Ms. Shane?she asked.

"Yes Ma'am" I replied.

"Ok. Follow me please" she said and then we went to the right wing were the office was located.

"So do you bring any resume? She asked again.

"Yea Ma'am" I replied.

"Do you know that your the first applicant" she smiled at me.

"No actually but I hope that helps" I answered.

"Your information are good but are you sure for this Miss?

"Yes, Im absolutely sure" I said.

"Okey thats good you may start tomorrow about 2:00 pm just asked for Liza Willis in the desk and she will lead you to your assignment" she said while giving me a list of what I should do.

After all the long talk about my salary and etc. I grab some pizza and a red wine to celebrate my second job. who would think that a chambermaid will have a good pay than a waitress at a local cafe. At last Christian will be out of my life. Christian was the Boss son and everytime I worked at the cafe he bugs me for his feelings, his actually annoying but I just said yes to him to be my boyfriend so that I will be excused for my lates in the cafe. Actually his cute but not really my type just a - can be handle thingy.

Then a familiar voice wake me up...
