"Areum......im sorry i couldn't take good care of you..!" A woman's voice said sadly her voice daring to crack she look down a beautiful baby girl who just smiled at her she was only a 2 weeks old. those 2 weeks were the most happiest moments of her life but she cant support her anymore because of the debts,she was broke. "Areum....please take care i love you....dont lose hope I'll come back for you i promise! Remember i love you princess....." the woman said and kiss the little girl's forehead gently before she gently put the basket at the doorstep and left a letter
The woman ran away holding back tears as she gripped the pic of her husband who is now deceased "Yeobo mianhe.... i couldn't take care of our daughter our only princess" she said and ran as fast as her legs can carry her

Areum's Pov

"Yah! Stop pulling my hair!" My roommate Annie shouted at the bully i looked at her debating if i would help her or i will get another bruise this week if i interfere. Max was the name of our bully he is 4 years older than us and he would pick on us younger kids. I made up my mind seeing Annie in pain i was only 6years old and i experience bruise and cuts because of him "Max! Stop it! Let Annie unnie go!" I shouted Max stopped and look at my direction. i froze in fear " Areum ah what did i tell you if you meddle with my buisness?" He said as he let go of annie i let out a whimper

"i will get beaten......" i said quietly. I cover my face ready for another bruise but felt a sudden pain in my stomach. I let out a small scream and fell down he repeatedly kick me on a stomach while im covering my head in case it gets hit "you little brat stop being a hero! You are just an abandon child no wonder you're mom left you here!" He said. I glared at him angrily "shut up max.! Isint it the same for you since you're here? No wonder your family left you too! Maybe because if you stayed by your real family. they would know how a bad guy you are!" I said angrily. I let out a shriek of pain when i felt a pain on my cheek he continue to beat me until he was already tired...

I stood up and went to my dorm and saw Annie with a first aid kit "unnie...." i sob Annie was 2 yrs older than me and she was like an older sister "Areum... mianhe i couldnt stop him...i was scared" she said and treat my wounds carefully. I wince in pain "unnie......do you think we'll get adopted?" I ask
She smiled "of course Areum ah" she replied "but what if one of us will get adopted i dont wanna be alone!" I sniffed she was silent "its ok Areum ah we'll surely meet again right?" She said and i nodded hopefully

-Next day-

I woke up still feeling the bruise from yesterday i look around expecting annie but she was gone her bag and things were gone "unnie? Where are you?" I shouted maybe she went down i thought i change my clothes and went down
"Um....Shin unnie where is Annie unnie? " i ask the cook of our orphanage "oh..! Areum ah she was adopted yesterday when you took a nap or sleep since you slept the whole day she was adopted by a nice couple" she said as she place an apple and some omelettes on my tray. I bit my lip and nodded my head it was obvious Areum... she was adopted i thought. I suddenly felt someone blocking me and fell on the floor with my food.. i heard some laughing but ignored it and went upstairs to change clothes

Taeyeon's Pov

"Unnie we'll adopt a girl right right right right???" Seohyun said excitedly i nodded my head before i let out a giggle "of course i ask for the manager's and the CEO's permission.." i said " can i come with you?? Can i? Can i?" She said i looked at her she was doing her aegyo. I sigh and nod my head with a smile.

She smiled and ran upstairs to get her purse and stuff "unnie pick an adorable girl!" Sunny said with excitement on her voice "also she have to be kind and knows how to dance" Yoona said i nodded "guys why wont you just come with us " i said my hands on my hips. They gave me a sheepish smile "no thanks unnie" they said and went back to theur work.

"Unnie lets go" Seohyun said opening the door. I followed her excited to finally have someone we could love and take care like a daughter "ok maknae" i said and we left to the orphanage

Areum's Pov

I sniffed as i comb my hair i miss Annie unnie.... Max kept on bullying me that dumb dumb the door opened revealing the staff from the orphanage "Areum pls go downstairs we have a visitor" he said and went out i got out of the bed and went downstairs.

I saw 3-10 year old kids they were talking to eachother i silently stood by another girl's side i could tell she's older than me "im so excited!! I heard Snsd/Girls Generation are here!!" She said with a preppy voice i urge my self not to say something " i had a feeling that they are gonna adopt me.. c'mon im one of them!" She said " i know right!" Her friwnds said i just bowed my head.. always the popular ones get picked......
"Yah why are you beside me?" She said raising her eyebrow "cause this is the only space" i said trying to sound nice she huff and rolled her eyes "fine just dont try to get their attention" she snapped and continue their 'gossiping' i think thats what unnie said "ok kids please settle down they are here... please come in" Mrs Park motioned and 2 beautiful women came the other kids screamed with excitement i looked at them....with curiosity and then put my head back down.

3rd person's view

"Please pick one of them" Mrs Park said with a smile and went inside.
The children became noisy they were shouting our names "unnie! Pick me!!" "Noona! Pick me!" Etc "kids please settle down! Fall in line!" Mrs park said they quickly fall in line Seohyun was having fun with the kids while Taeyeon was looking. While she was loking at the kids she saw a little girl alone and on the corner she was looking at the other kids having fun while she only look at them. Taeyeon walk to her direction before she was stopped by a 12 yr old girl "hello unnie!! Im minji!" She said with a smile but taeyeon looked a little bit uneasy with her how she would let other kids not play with her and taeyeon "Minji ah can i go i also have to play with the other kids....." taeyeon said hopefully glancing at the lonely girl at the corner. Minji hessitated but nodded "ok unnie! But can we play if your done with them?" She said. Taeyeon nodded then Minji went away. Taeyeon sigh in relief "Unnie!" That startled taeyeon she turned and saw Seo with a smile "did you choose yet?" Taeyeon ask she shook her head "not yet unnie they kinda....dont click...i mean.. they are adorable but im looking for someone who is quiet but has a fiesty side" Seohyun said taeyeon turned and thought for a while "i have a girl in mind Seo" taeyeon said
