..::..Aki’s P.O.V..::..

My eyes fluttered open, like a butterfly on a summer’s morning. I felt two strong arms around me and I looked down to see my sister, Eri, snuggling into my stomach. I smiled at this. She must’ve had a nightmare, poor thing. I sat up, making her head fall into my lap, still fast asleep. I played with her long orange hair a bit before I realized it’s already 6 AM. I gently shook her awake. Her eyes opened half way and she looked up at me, still clearly asleep.

“Aki-?” She said, clearly asleep. I sighed and carefully removed her head from my lap and onto the bed. I stood up and stretched myself out. “Why so early up, Aki?” She asked, sitting Indian style on my bed.

“Have you already forgotten, Eri? We both start school today.” Realization appeared on her face.

“Oh yeah!” She stood up from the bed, revealing just how tall she was. She was about a meter taller than me. But that’s just because I’m really short… and I’m also older…by two months or so. We’re both 14 and today we will start school at Namimori Middle. Eri walked over to the opposite side of the room where her bed and closet is. She quickly dressed in our new school uniform.  She had a small kawaii panda body bag that she wears on her left side with the strap on the right. She examined herself in the mirror and tied her long orange-brown hair in a low pony-tail. She also had lime green eyes. I then dressed as well. I took a black pin placed it in my baby pink, bobbed hair. I also had pure blue eyes. I grabbed my book bag and made sure I had all my books. And by books I mean manga. I grinned evilly at all my manga. Eri took her book bag and ran down stairs, me following behind. We ran into the kitchen and stopped as we saw our mother making breakfast. She looked back at us and smiled.

“Hello girls, there’s food for you on the table.” We nodded and went to eat. We then thanked our mother, ran outside, grabbed our bikes and started peddling towards Namimori Middle, which is just down the block. It was now 7: 15 and we were late for our first day! I blame Eri for sleeping on me. We ran up to the entrance to see a boy with short black hair, with a fringe that joins at the centre of his face, and parts to the sides, leaving a sort of, "M," shape. He has sharp, grey eyes and wears a long-sleeved white shirt, a blue sweater-vest, and black shoes and an armband on his left sleeve.

“Herbivores. I’ll bite you to death.” He said, holding up tonfas. Who the hell is this guy?!

..::..Eri’s P.O.V..::..

Who is this sucker?! Raising a weapon at me!

“We’re new students here, it’s our first day here, please forgive our lateness.” Aki apologized in which I frowned at. He simply glared daggers at us.

“Hn. Hurry up, herbivores, before I bite you to death.” We walked past him, Aki in front but before I passed him I turned to face him and glared at him.

“Don’t you dare raise your weapons at me.” I said, venom with each word. I scoffed, and ran up to Aki. I still felt the daggers that were glared into my back at me. After we got our schedules at the office, we split up to our classes. I knocked on the door and I heard a faint ‘Come in.’ So I entered, and immediately I felt all eyes on me. The teacher clapped her hands together.

“Splendid! Class, we will be having three transfer students today and one will be joining us! Please introduce yourself.” I nodded and strolled over to the front of the class.

“I’m Eri Futomoto. Nice to meet you.” The teacher nodded and examined the class.

“You can go sit next to Tsunayoshi-kun! Please raise your hand!” He lifted his hand and I went to sit at the desk next to him.
