Time and Darkness are thus, one thing; if there was no distance, no ripples would have been created in order to cover that distance and hence, there would have been no time. This results in the fact thatLife, in its utmost present moment of existence, is already in the past. Why? Because the conscious experience takes time to assemble, since every action has to be brought within the limits of understanding, within the limits of physical nature.

To give logic or a name to an inexplicable mechanism of Time, Hinduism, one of the oldest religions in the planet, gave it the term 'Shiva'. What is 'Shiva'? Shiva is a non-being, a divine darkness. Shiva IS 'TIME', the very basis of existence. To symbolise the unfathomable, the infinite divinity and to bring it down to comprehensible level, Shiva was made a form. The principle from where everything has taken form, sustained, and dissolved into. The space and consciousness(eternally relative to Time) defines 'Shiva'. Different cultures have adopted this word into their religions, but the core remains the same, they use it to indicate a period of time, a duration of passing. In Hebrew, Shiva means 'seven' which are the number of days of mourning of a deceased one. This period is observed for psychological relief, a gradual, normative process to avoid falling into the dark recess of depression.

So, why bring Shiva while explaining Time and God? Simple. Shiva is a non-being, exists without existing, just like Time and how mortal life pictures God in all His Glory. This author is yet to form a definite answer on 'Higher Calling'. This is the best she can go in order to attain some sense of these thoughts, whether to believe in God or in a more intangible yet more understandable concept that is called 'Time'. Equating the two seems a fine way to converge on a remotely justified and impartial an answer.
