Today was the day. Draco and Cygnus were going to Hogwarts.
"Remember to write!" Mothers called as their children boarded the train.
Draco soon found a car with his childhood friends, Crabbe and Goyle.
Cygnus had been alone for most of her childhood, with no one but Draco.
She soon found a car; there was another girl in the car, too. She miles softly and Cygnus smiled back.
"Hi! I'm Hermione! Hermione Granger. Are you ready for Hogwarts because I'm definitely ready! I've already memorized the majority of our books." The girl said quickly, "I'm the first person in our family to go to Hogwarts, the rest are Muggles. I was quite surprised that I got the letter; I'm hoping to be in Gryffindor, how about you?"
"Um, I would like to be in Slytherin. My name is Cygnus Malfoy." Cygnus said and then thought to herself "a mudblood? How did I get stuck with one of these?"
"Slytherin?" Hermione scoffed, "Why Slytherin?"
"All of my family has been in Slytherin. I wouldn't want to break the tradition." Cygnus replied.
The girls then got dressed into their robes, for they were almost to Hogwarts.
Once they got to Hogwarts, Hagrid, the man Cygnus had seen in Madame Malkin's who was with the other boy, led them into boats.
"No more'n three in a boat!" He called.
Cygnus got into a boat with Draco and Goyle.

It was time for the Choosing Ceremony. Professor McGonagall, a strict-looking woman, called everyone up alphabetically. Before she knew it, it was Cygnus's turn.
"Malfoy, Cygnus."
"Please Slytherin." She thought.
"But why Slytherin?" The Sorting Hat asked, "Ahh. Never mind, I know all of your family is in Slytherin. The Malfoys. Nice people. I better call SLYTHERIN!"
Cygnus heard the last word shouted out and clapping from the Slytherin table.
Draco was also sorted to Slytherin and soon enough it was the (sigh) boy from Madame Malkin's.
"GRYFFINDOR!" The Sorting Hat called.
Cygnus was disappointed, but Pansy, a girl who had been her friend for a while, was also in Slytherin.
"Let us eat!" Dumbledore called out.
The table was full of delicious-looking food. Cygnus hoped the food tasted as good as it looked because she dove right in.
