Drunk On Me

Chapter Fourteen: I don't even have a name for this...

The next morning I awoke to a note.

"I will probably be at the court house by the time you wake up. Jake will be taken care of once are for all. -Luke<3"

I smiled and went back to sleep.

*LUKES POV*

It was 7:55 and I was standing outside the courthouse waiting for them to open. I used the time I had to think. Just think about the events of the past few days. I realized if fallen in love... I could see myself with this woman forever. I suddenly realized why it never worked out with anyone else.

My thoughts were interrupted when a young woman with short brown hair and black tightly fitted clothes walked up to the door.

"Good morning." She said to me, cheerfully.

"Good morning." I responded politely.

"Are you here for a specific reason?"

"Yes actually I am.." I trailed off.

"Step inside. I'll see what I can do."

She unlocked the door and I followed her to what I assumed what her office. She sat down and fired up her computer.

"So what can I do for ya, Mr. Bryan?"

Great. She knew who I was.

"I met this beautiful girl at a concert the other day. She's so amazing and I see her in my life for a long, long time. But she has this ex boyfriend that just won't leave her alone. I don't know why but whenever he comes near she gets so scared and goes into shock. Last night he threatened to kill her best friend. Her best friend is pregnant, he threatened to kill the baby too. He really wants to have sexual relations with her and he said if she didn't do it he would do as he threatened. I'd like to get a restraining order. Actually 5. I need to protect her friends too."

"What's his name?"

"Jake... " I suddenly realized I had no clue what his last name was.

"Um, I guess I'll have to come back later. I'm not sure of his last name."

"Oh that's okay! Here's my card. Make sure you get me when you come back." She said giving me a wink. That made me feel uncomfortable...

"Will do ma'am." I stated as I walked out of the office.

I made my way back to my car and headed to the hospital.

*Jayden's POV*

I awoke again to the sound of someone coming in the door. I assumed it was Luke.

"Hey." I said. But to my surprise I got no response.

Instead the footsteps got closer. I turned my head and before I could do anything a pillow came down over my face, causing my scream to be muffled and my sobs almost silent. Soon after, I blacked out.

Short, crappy, and I'm late. I forgot Saturday was update day and then my brain was dead so I had problems even coming up with this. This is probably my worst chapter. I promise the next one will be better <3
