Chapter 2

"Nim?" A small voice asked as I began to open my eyes. I groaned having to be woken, I'm so tired this morning for some strange reason!

"Nim" The voice said again beginning to get impatient, I opened my eyes fully to see a pair of bright emerald green eyes staring into my own. I smiled at Vic who seemed to be very close to my face.

"Hey Vic" I said yawning and stretching out my arms causing the pillow I had cuddled to fall onto the floor. Vic watched it fall and I giggled slightly at her curiosity.

"Just kiss already" I heard Carris say, I felt my cheeks burn and I pushed Vic away from my face gently. She was beginning to go red too,"Im joking guys" Carris continued throwing her arms up in defence. I smiled but still felt embarrassed as hell.

"Oh um Nim?" Vic asked showing her puppy eyes, I giggled,"yeah?" I replied sitting up on the sofa picking up the pillow that fell and placed it back behind my back.

"Chel said we may be going to Minecon this year" She smiled her eyes twinkling with excitement and I my self couldn't hold my excitement in....

"ERMEHGERD! Really!?" I shouted seeing Carris wince in the corner of the room where she was now reading some sort of magazine.

Vic nodded grinning up at me. OMG I love Minecraft! and I'm not really bothered about getting to see Team Crafted, I'm not much of a fan but it'll be amazing to go traveling!

"What was all the shouting?!" Chel came running into the room looking flushed and concerned. I ran up to her giving a hug,"OMG are we really going to Minecon?" I asked.

"Eeyup but it's not for a few months, we still have school to get through ya know" Chel replied walking over to the calendar pointing out that today was Saturday.......in a school term.

I groaned thinking about all the university exams I'd have to pass, we're in University and it's pretty hard going and I ain't that bright.

"Cheer up little Nim" I heard Carris say from where she was sitting still reading that magazine, I glared at her for calling me that. I was the youngest here but that didn't mean she'd have to point it out.

"Well since it's a Saturday, anyone up to going camping tonight?" Chel asked us, we all nodded and began to walk up the stairs to our bedrooms. Vic followed me into my own bedroom.

"Vic this is my bedroom" I mumbled pulling out my shoulder bag from under my double bed. Vic skipped to my cupboard not saying a word and pulled out my purple Hollister long sleeve.

"I like wearing your clothes cos there baggy on me" She finally spoke pulling out a pair of skinny black jeans, I watched her then close the cupboards doors and she skipped back out of my room.

I swear that girl is a bit weird in the head, I chuckled quietly walking over to the cupboard and pulling out a pair of dark grey jeans, a blue wooly jumper and a tight white t-shirt.

I think I'll wear these to go and I'll wear a baggy pair of joggers with the jumper to go to sleep in, I thought to myself quickly slipping out of my pyjamas and into the clothing I had picked.

I looked in the tall mirror, hmm these are comfy I thought and walked over toy dressing table where I grabbed my iPhone,iPod and hairbrush. I don't really wear make-up unless its a special occasion like going to the club which I rare for me.

I finished packing the bag and pulled it over my shoulder an walked downstairs. It was quiet in the hallway so I guess everyone is still packing.

My phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out to find a text from Rhydian, my best 'guy friend' in University. I unlocked my phone and read the text....
