Part 9

Dove's POV

Ryan seemed upset about this Jeremy career situation. I am too but I'm trying not to show it. What does his manager expect us to do? Give him back? That's not happening. At least my manager was a little supportive and got us an interview. I look over at my 2 year old boy watching some TV show laying on his stomach on the floor. I'm sitting on the couch while Ryan showers because today we're going to introduce Jeremy to my mom and sister. Ryan comes out in dark jeans and a button up white shirt and brushed wet hair. "Why so fancy?" I ask standing up and going over. "Because they're your parents." He says putting his hands on my waist. "And we've been dating for nearly 3 years. They love you and don't care if you'd come in sweatpants." I say. Ryan smiles and shakes his head as I wrap my arms around his neck. "You smell good. Are you wearing cologne?" I ask. He blushes and looks down. So cute. "Maybe." He says. I smile. "It smells good." I say. He smiles and says "Good." "I'm gonna shower." I say and peck his lips. He smiles and goes over to the couch. "Diggie I mean daddy." Jeremy says. I smile to myself and take a shower. I assume Jeremy is such a good talker because he had to learn to do everything himself. After I shower I go over to Ryan who had Jeremy laying in his lap. "We lost someone." He says. I look down at sleeping Jeremy and smile. "Ready?" I ask. He nods and picks up Jeremy. We leave and Jeremy sleeps the whole car ride. When we get there Ryan gets Jeremy out and we knock on my mom's door. Claire answers and squeals before hugging me. "Is this my nephew?" She asks. I nod. "You guys are so cute." She says and lets us in. "Thanks." Ryan says and gives Claire a one arm hug. My mom greets us the same way Claire does. We all sit on the couch. Jeremy is still asleep in Ryan's arms. "I wanna meet him. Can we wake him up?" Claire asks. I laugh a little. "He won't sleep tonight if we don't." I tell Ryan. He nods and whispers "Jeremy...it's time to get up." He lightly rubs Jeremy's back. Jeremy rubs his eyes and hugs Ryan. "Awe." Claire and my mom both say. I move closer to them and put my hand on Jeremy's back. We have him wearing a blue t-shirt and khaki shorts. "Jeremy this is your Nana and auntie." I say. He hides in Ryan's neck. "He's shy." I say. Jeremy yawns and Ryan pulls him away from him. He holds out his arms and I take him. "I wanna go home." He says. I smile and rub his back. "Jeremy we got you a toy." Mom says. Jeremy looks over and my mom hands him a bag. He gets off me and takes it. He opens it. "He's gonna love you now." Ryan says putting his arm around me. "Cars!" Jeremy says. I smile and lay my head on his shoulder. "Wanna play?" Jeremy asks handing a car to Claire. "Yes." Claire says and giggles. I smile and watch as they play. My eyes start to get heavy. "Chloe." Ryan whispers. "Hmm?" I ask. "Stay awake honey." Ryan says. I nod and sit up. "Have you talked to your parents, Ryan about Jeremy?" Mom asks. "No." Ryan says. It's silent for awhile while Jeremy and Claire play. About an hour later we go home and as soon as we get home we take a nap.
