A/N - This will all be in Annie’s P.O.V unless it says otherwise. Also, my apologies for the short length, it will get longer as more happens :) xx
"Annie are you packed yet?" My best friend, Diane, asked me for literally hundredth time.
"Yes, Diane." I replied back, annoyed.
"Sorry, I just want you to be ready in the morning."
I nod, turning back to the television. You see, Diane and I are flying to London, England for Summer In The City. I am sorta big on YouTube, and was invited to perform. Obviously I wasn’t going to go to England without Diane. We had to be at the airport at 4am, meaning we have to leave at 3am. It is about 9pm and Diane and I are watching Honey Boo Boo. It’s not the best show to fall asleep to, but we probably won’t be able to sleep because we are too excited.
*just getting off the plane*
Praise. The ride is over. That felt so unnecessarily long.
"I AM SO EXCITED!" Diane yells in my ear.
"How are you so hyper?" I turn and ask her with a glare.
"I’m just excited to be in England!"
I roll my eyes and walk towards the baggage claim. I stand there, looking for my bright pink bags. I finally spot them and take them off of the conveyer belt. Diane grabs her bags and we walk towards Bree, our friend whom we meet via YouTube.
"HEY BREE!" We both scream in unison, startling Bree and making her turn around.
"Hey guys!" She laughs.
We all walk towards her car, making small talk her and there. I hop in the backseat, Diane going in the passengers, and Bree driving.
"Are you guys excited for Summer In The City?"
"YES YES YES YES!" I scream jumping up and down in my seat. They both laugh at me, causing me to fake pout at them.
"Can you guess what other band is going to be performing?" Bree asks us.
"Umm…?"
"THE VAMPS!"
I shout loudly, literally almost falling out of my seat.
"WHAT REALLY?!"
"Yes, really."
Oh my god. I knew I had to do good, but now I have to sing my lungs out. If THE Brad Simpson is going to be there, watching me sing, I might die. They will need an ambulance. No joke. I love The Vamps so much. Now I’m anxious for tomorrow to come. What is happening tomorrow? Well all the people that will be performing or having meet ups for Summer In The City get together and have to listen to some boring speeches about being appropriate and blah blah blah. I want to meet him so badly. I need to meet all of those boys.
"Annie?"
"What? Sorry."
"You zoned out. We are here." Diane says, poking my arm.
I drag myself out of the car and towards the trunk to fetch my bags. The hotel looks nice enough. Diane, Bree, and I walk to the receptionist.
"What’s your name love?" The lady asks in a posh British accent.
"Annie Smith." I tell her.
"Alright. Room number 149, second floor. Here are three keys. Enjoy your stay."
Yes, you heard correctly. We are sharing a room. Bree thought it would be a good idea and both Diane and I agreed that it would be loads of fun. We hop in the elevator, pushing the large 2, waiting for the doors to close. I hate elevators a lot. They scare me. I’m not sure why, they just do. We make it up to the second floor and go on a hunt for our room. Luckily, we found it without needing to ask a staff member which usually happens to us. Bree, Diane, and I put our stuff away in our rooms, Diane and I sharing a room while Bree is alone. We decide we should get some rest in order to look our best tomorrow, so we all grab a bite to eat and hit the hay.
