Kathryn sat with a book in her hands with her sister Blake.

"Think they got it?" Luke asked, nudging his sister out of her own little world.

"What? Them? Probably not." Alex rolled her eyes.

"I wonder who they are...?" Kathryn whispered to her sister.

"Better get back to Brooklyn house." Luke said, walking away.

"Wait. I think they have it." Alex suddenly grabbed his sleeve.

Kathryn suddenly slammed her book closed.

"Them? There just normal kids." Luke scoffed, and Alex whispered something in his ear, and he closed his eyes, then nodded. "We can't just suddenly tell them."

"Why do you think they're staring at us?" Kathryn asked her sister.

"I heard Serqet is looking for more magicians to turn. Horus said so. Maybe we could use them to trap her and get them to come with us. Two birds, one stone." Alex whispered to Luke, who simply nodded.

"Let's go." Kathryn told her sister.

"Let her go. We'll keep an eye on them." Luke told Alex, pulling her off towards the main city in Brooklyn.

"Who do you think they were? They were awfully interested in us." Kathryn asked her sister.

A woman with a stroller started walking towards them, looking at them every so often.

"Just keep to yourself." Kathryn whispered.

"Hello, what is your names?" The woman rasped, smiling at them.

Kathryn gave the lady a doubtful look then came up with an idea. "I'm Kathryn and this is Blake." She told the lady trying not to walk away.

"Such beautiful names." She responded after a second.

"Thank you, but We must be going now." Kathryn nodded her head slightly to the woman.

"Wait." The woman rasped, reaching out her hand and resting it on Kathryn's shoulder.

"Go home!" Kathryn told Blake.

Blake nodded and ran off.

Kathryn turned, "Yes?" She asked trying to conceal her irritation.

"Do you know your family tree?" The woman asked suddenly.

"Yes..." Kathryn responded suspiciously.

"Do you know the Egyptian gods?"

"Yes..." She replied even more suspiciously now.

"This may be a surprise to you, but I am one of them." The woman flashed an evil grin.

"Okay, if it is true.... why tell me?" Kathryn asked backing away a little bit.

"Because, you're wanted. There is the House of Life, which despises us gods, then there's Isfet, which is freedom. Those two kids you saw, they're servants of Ma'at, who are trapped

under laws and rules, unlike Isfet."

Kathryn looked bewildered. "What do you mean us!? I'm not one of you!" She yelled angrily at the thought of it.

"You're not a god, but you have the blood of the Pharaohs. You can join Isfet, or I can kill you."

"F-fine, I'll join, but I have to meet those kids." She replied unsure about things.

"Serqet!" A voice shouted, and the woman 'Serqet' glared off in the direction.

"I thought we'd have more time." She complained.

Kathryn turned around to see the same kids at the park. "See r-what!" Kathryn shouted unsure, then fell over and went unconscious.

"Luke! What's the command for a protective circle!" Alex shouted.

"N'dah!" Luke yelled, and a glowing hieroglyph circle appeared around Kathryn.

"Khefa!" Alex commanded, and a glowing fist came and knocked Serqet over. Man I do like my charms. "Serqet! Release your host and leave this girl alone, before I use the Seven Ribbons of Hathor!" Alex told her.

"Never!" Serqet hissed.

"Tas!" Alex yelled, and pink ribbons came and tied Serqet up. "I banish you into the Duat, and leave your host, Serqet!" Alex yelled, and Serqet disappeared, leaving the woman. "Ha-ri." Alex murmured, and the women relaxed.

"Alex?" Luke asked.

"Uhh yeah, see you guys later goodnight." Alex mumbled, collapsing to the ground.

Luke caught her. "You just used the Fist of Horus, the Seven Ribbons of Hathor, and banished Serqet." Luke said in awe, but Alex was out cold.

Kathryn woke up to see the boy holding his sister.

"Sorry about that. Misunderstanding with Serqet. Names Luke." Luke gave her a tired smile.

" What happened?" She asked her mind swirling.

"Umm, can you wait until Alex wakes up?" Luke said, glancing at his sister.

" uh- ok. Names Kathryn." She replied setting her head back down.

"Let's go to Brooklyn House." Luke suggested.

"Uh- ok." She tried to stand but then fall back again. Kathryn fell asleep.
