Today is the day I leave everything. My friends, family, school, popularity, cheer and home. Today is the day I leave the love of my life, Chad, for some lame school up in Birmingham Alabama. I wish my family could stay
in Orlando. But after moms passing, dad wanted a fresh start.
As I start packing my bags in the pink Cadillac, I see my friends Am and Melanie run over to say goodbyes.
"Emily! Promise you'll text us the deets of your new school!" Amy says, teary eyed.
"Yeah! Totally! And don't forget to come over and visit us, Em!" Melanie cries out, trying to hold her tears back.
"I will, loves!" I try to comfort them. "I really need to get going though. Dad already left with Mike and Adam. Nikki is coming with me."
Mike and Adam are my younger brothers, and Nikki is my older sister by 2 years. I hop in the passanger seat, waiting for Nikki.
I see Nikki come out of the house with tons of bags of clothes, shoes, makeup, you name it!
I shout a "Bye babes" to my friends as my sister hops in the drivers seat.
Before they have time to react, my sister starts the car, pulls out of the drive way, and starts down a road of mystery.
