Chapter 4

I am SO sorry I haven't posted in like...forever. I've been REALLY busy lately. But here's Chapter 4. ENJOY!! ❤️

Maya: I dont know, Lucas...

Lucas: Be honest, why wont you go home with me?

Maya: Lucas-

Lucas: No. Maya. Seriously. Why wont you go home with me.

Maya: Because you're family is so perfect. Your mom and stepdad are like the nicest people in the world and-

Lucas: Maya...it's fine.

Maya: I feel like a nothing when I'm with you, Lucas...

Lucas: Maya...you're not a nothing...

Maya: Prove it.

Lucas: You want me to prove it? Fine. We have to go to school tomorrow. We were lucky it was the weekend. I did the project alone and put both names on it. I'll stay with you the whole day and anyone who trys anything will get hurt. Ok?

Maya: Ok...

The cops arrived and took him away. I was so happy he could never touch me again.

Lucas: Uhhh...you should probably get all of your stuff if your gonna live with me.

Maya: Yeah. Ok.

I went back inside and he came too. They drink was still on the floor spilled and everywhere. The glass broke a little on the side.

Lucas: Are you sure he didnt hurt you.

Maya: Yes, Lucas. I just hit my rist REALLY hard trying to get away.

Lucas: Promise?

Maya: Hey, I'm gonna go get my stuff. You can watch TV or something.

Lucas: You can use a suitcase or something.

Maya: Ok.

I went into my bedroom and put all my clothes in my suitcase. I included my phone charger and headphones. I left the bedroom and started walking to the door when I almost tripped on something. I looked down and it was a wallet.

I picked it up and it was my dad's. I looked inside and their was two $100 bills. I put it in a pocket of my suitcase.

Maya: I'm ready.

He got up, grabbed his crutches, and came over to me. He went in front of me and opened the door for me.

Lucas: Ladies first.

Maya: Well, thank you. You're such a gentleman.
