My Protector

Chapter 1

The movie was over as my friends and I walk outside of the theatre. It was crowded as always, gangs hanging outside of the restaurant with their nice cars. I look around for cars as I cross the road. My friends talking while I walk behind them, looking around I see a guy watching me as I stop by the restaurant. Pretending not to notice I quickly look away and focus on my friends. While talking to my friends, a guy creeped behind me and grab my ass as he smirk and walk away.

"Oh hell no he didn't", Stells said as she raise her arms up.

I closed my eyes and breathe heavily and walked up to that guy and slap the shit out of him. He fell and I grabbed his jacket.

"Don't ever touch me again jackass", I sad angrily.

He stood up and ran while Stells and Kells came running to me.

"Oh my god... Joelle, you're one hell of a girl", Kells said laughing with Stells.

"Stupid ass people in this world... They should understand that I'm dangerous.. I can ruin their lives", I said chewing my gum.

Two motorcycles and a Ferrari stopped in front of us.

"Ugh finally they're here", Kells said excitedly.

The girls hopped on the motorcycles as I look at my bodyguard who was driving my car.

"Get out of my car, I'm driving and call for another ride", I commanded.

He quickly got out of the car as I got in.

"But ma'am your father said to watch for you", he said.

"So? I'm driving home anyways, it's your free time now", I said giving no fucks as I drove off.

While driving away from my bodyguard I stared at the guy who looked at me before and he stared back.

What the hell... I speed up as disappearing from the street.

As I got home, I thought about the guy.

Does he know me?

Does he want something from me?

Is he tracking me down?

Did I do something wrong?

After all, I'm the daughter of a rich man.. Probably the richest man in the city.

All those questions run through my mind.

"Ah my daughter, my beautiful daughter", Dad said breaking my thoughts.

"Daddy", I smiled.

"How was the movie?", he asked.

"It was okay, could've been better", I respond.

"Well your guard told me that you didn't let him drive you home", Dad said sighing.

"Dad please understand that I want my privacy and plus it's my car", I said annoyed.

"Tomorrow I am going to find you a new bodyguard", he said confidently. "That means no friends over, nor can't you go anywhere, and dress appropriately. It's very dangerous out there", he continued.

"Whatever", I said walking to my room.

I closed the door loudly and lay on my bed.. Why can't I have a normal life? Every single day I have to go somewhere with people I don't even know. I hate it.

I got my phone out and text Elora, my oldest sister.

ME: Hey💋

El: Hey! What a surprise, something wrong?😡

ME: Nah, what's up?😏

El: Joelle, you know you can tell me anything😄

ME: Dad's getting me a new bodyguard... again😔

El: Jo, you need to know that dad is trying to protect you, now that I have my own family, the only person dad has is you.

ME: I hate this El, it's like someone is always here with me when I do something😐

El: Remember what mom told you?

Me: Yeah...

El: What don't you tell me again then?

ME: To not let anyone stop me from doing what I love even though there's always eyes on me, enjoy the little things you have in life because it's not going to last forever. And always be there for the ones who loves you and the ones who you love.

El: So what do you think? Can you be strong?💞👌

ME: Yes.

El: Good girl, now I gotta go, Adam's (husband) calling me.

ME: Alright, thank you Elora.. I love you💖💕💘

El: It's no problem, after all you're my little sister😂, I love you more mwah😚

I smiled as I put my phone away.

"Well night routine time", I sigh.
