"Reagan, how are you and Mr. Love Machine? Still on that crazy 'love' train?" winked Kerry, Reagan's friend.
Reagan and three of her other friends were in the car, coming home from the movies.
"It's good, but strange lately. He seems sort of -um- I don't know, hostile?" she replied wearily, but to be honest, she was deciding whether to end it or not.
"What do you mean?! Has he hurt you... because if he has, I will personally-" screeched Teresa, suddenly being interrupted.
"No! It's just not like it used to be... that's all," stated Reagan fiercely, she believed -no, she knew- her boyfriend would never hurt her.
Finally, the car rolled up to Reagan's house, and as she climbed out, she noticed the light on the side of the house was on. She told her friends a quick good-bye, and trudged up to her front door. As she stuck her keys in the lock to open it, she noticed it was already unlocked.
"Hmm, Mom must've left the door open for me. Thanks," she mumbled, as she groggily shut the door, which was a huge mistake.
As she took her first step, someone emerged from the shadows. She barely had enough time to scream as the dark figure bashed her on the side of the head, forcing her to collapse in a bloody heap, as darkness overcame her. And with that, the figure dragged her slowly down the nearby stairwell, leading to the molded basement.
