I lay back on my bed, thinking.
Tonight did not go as planned. I didn't even want to go in the first place. If I wouldn't of gone, none of that would of happened. But I can't blame Renee. None of us knew that any of that would happen.
I take out my phone and scroll through the pictures, noticing that Harry left the one I took of him.
Also noticing that he took one of me. My half bangs covering my right eye, the rest of my blonde hair falling over my shoulders as I reach out trying to take my phone back from him.
It's a picture I actually like.
I scroll back to the picture I took of him and just admire it for a second. I close up on the screen of his phone to see what he was doing, and my eyes go wide as I try to think I am actually seeing what I'm seeing.
It's a picture of me, from what I can see, I was frowning at him when he took it. But when did he take it?
Of coarse, then Renee decides to come in quietly and spook me by saying, "Looking at pictures of Harry, are yah?"
I jump and turn off my phone in the process of looking up and seeing her. I scowl at her.
"No, I was not!"
"Yes you were!" she exclaims.
"Whatever," I brush her off.
"So how do you think tonight went?" she asks curtly.
I think back. I was practically forced to go bowling, which I hate by the way, then, there was Harry. Tall, curly, tattooed Harry. He was annoying all night, but, he was also the highlight of my night. It would have been absolutely boring without him there.
Also, he saved me, well, yes he saved me. I don't know what would have happened to me, and I don't want to know.
Altogether, I guess my night wasn't that bad.
Renee snaps her fingers in front of my face. I jump back a little.
"So? How was it?" she asks again.
"It was, good I guess."
"Good," she smiles.
"I'm going to go I sleep," I say, yawning.
"Ok! Goodnight!"
And with that, I lay down and go to sleep.
