Chapter 1

Ninten's POV

Today was interesting.

I went hiking throught the woods. I found some stuff in the ground, and this is the strange part. In the dry floor, tiny water puddles, looking like tears. I followed the track and then, here it goes, a strange kid. Ginger hair, a blue eye and a red eye, with a robotic arm with wires. He appeared to have the same age as me.

-Hey...are you alright?

-H-huh? Who's there?- The boy looked at me. His expression was scared.

-My name is Ninten. And you are..?

-I'm Claus. But to be honest, I don't even know who I am anymore. I'm a monster.

-A monster? What? Of course not! -I sat by his side.

-I have a family, you see...I have a brother, a father, a mother...but she's dead. - A little tear falling through Claus's face. I felt sad for him.

-Dead? What happened?- I reached closer and tried to comfort him.

-My brother, I and my mother...We visited our grandfather Alec. When we returned, a Drago killed her... It was awful...We cried. Hinawa, my mother, was such a great person...kind, lovely...why? Then, our neighbours and our father, knowing what happened, tried to find us. We were rescued, but then one of our father's friends told mom was dead. Flint, dad, went insane and hurt some friends. They had to hit him in the head so he won't hurt anyone else. They took him to our village's jail, and then I told him, when he woke up, that I would avenge mom. Now I'm a monster, a human chimaera. I'm a monster. I hate myself.

-That's horrible..but, hey, I can bring you back home. But tomorroe, okay? It's kinda late...

-Okay...thank you, Ninten- he hugged me and then I blushed. I told myself it was nice to have a new friend.

-I know, right?

-What??

-How can I understand your thoughts, Ninten?

-I-I don't know! Do you use PSI?

-Omg! You do too! Finnally, I have a friend that's got the same abilities I do!

-You can stay at my place tonight, Claus.

-Thank you, Ninten...

-Mimmie, Minnie, are you home?

-Hi, big brother! -they said at the same time.- Who's your friend?

-I'm Claus...Nice to meet you, girls.

-Heheee...-they looked with a perv look to Claus and then to me. What?? - Big brother, your friend is so cool!

-Thank you...

-Mimmie, Minnie, please! He's going to stay here tonight.

-Okay! That's nice to know! -They said.

When we came to my room, he borrowed one of my pajamas and then there was just one bed.

-Eeh, Claus? We will probably have to sleep in the same bed...

-It's alright, Ninten. I don't care. - he smiled, blushing. I smiled and blushed too.

We went to bed.

-Good night, Ninten. - Claus said.
