The year is 1997. The brink of a new century. It is a cold November morning and the entirety of the world is in a dismal mood. The War has begun to get serious. It is so serious, in fact, that no one has properly named it yet. But, in some coffee shops and bars people are already referring to it quite discreetly as the "Flower Crown War". Lotus, an extremist, a terrible perfectionist, the equivalent, in a sense, to Adolf Hitler, has officially and cruelly declared war on any opposing country by beheading Alec Reyes, the leader of the Western Democratic Territories.
All other nations are now on high alert. Lindesia is shutting down its ports, putting every entering ship under extreme scrutiny before allowing it to enter the East. The Southern Republic has shut down its border, and the NES has down the same, making a pathetic attempt at containing Lotus and her army in one spot. But of course, it isn't so simple.
She has a twisted and corrupted following. Each country refers to her followers as different things, "Fleurs Mauvais" (Twisted Flowers) in Lindesia, "Wudao Haizi" (Mislead Children) in Xin Hito, "Niszczyciele Własny" (Self Destroyers) in Samus, and over here in the Kavik States? "Koja Denassja". Bringers of Death.
These Bringers of Death have managed to smuggle weapons, people, everything to every corner of the globe. Nowhere is safe. Lotus also has magic, seemingly infinite stores of magic. All the cards are currently in her hands. She is the dealer and we are mere players. She has this deck stacked, knows it like the back of her hand. All we can do is pray that one finger slips and she somehow deals us an ace, a king, anything that gives us a chance.
