The Dark Dragon
Setting: Victorian Era
Plot: A long time ago, there existed a time of peace. The kingdoms were happy and content, until the dark dragon came. From nowhere, he arrived on wings of shadow, and on his head laid an orb of ruby; it was an artifact of unimaginable power. With it, he raised up armies of the dead, and became the ultimate ruler of the lands. Fifty years had passed, and still he sat on the throne. However, people have begun to appear all over the land with the powers of the sun and moon, people with eyes of gold and silver, said to be destined with the power to kill the dragon. As a result, the dark dragon has ordered his loyal servants to kill anyone who bears these eyes, and to put an end to any infant with them before they mature...
Ideas: I'm not going to give away the exact details of why people are getting these powers, but I'll give a general idea of what they're capable of. These people seemed to be born with either a burning heart of passion or a crescent soul of hope, allowing them to use powers of either the sun or moon. Sun powers generally revolve around fire magic, including lobbing fireballs and setting themselves on fire, but can even go as far as obtaining incredible feats of strength at a moments whim. Moon powers generalize around the more arcane and mind magics, which include bolts of magic and telepathy.
