Setting: Futuristic world
Plot: In a world where people have their souls linked together, a group of orphans find themselves mixed up in a government scandal when twins cane across their orphanage. This corrupt government has been running illegal experiments on soul linked people to try and strengthen them and their connections, and these twins are just one of the many test subjects that underwent treatment. Now, they must try and help expose this government while a select few have to deal with their soul links as well.
Ideas: People live in a world where their souls are linked to another. It is never specific and, at times, completely random, ranging from a king being linked to a homeless man to twins with a link. When a person finds their link, however, they can become an unstoppable force if they train hard enough. Although the skills can be random at times, these linked souls can be good at about anything, from a duet at a bar to a pair of fighters who strike like a whirlwind. That being said, it is hard to tell who you are truly linked to, but some say that they can "feel" they're linked partner. Some linked partners can go as far as being able to finish each others sentences, feel each others pain, and even able to read each other's thoughts through just a single glance or gesture. The sooner a partner is found, the stronger the connection, or link, can become, so people like twins with this link are considered some of the strongest of bondings. Of course, it is still possible to see a link between two strangers at an early age, but the chances can be quite low to extremely rare.
