[LONELY FRIEND.]

Do you ever feel like nobody appreciates you?

Nobody wants you?

Nobody needs you?

Nobody likes you?

I do feel that, all that, every time. And it hurts me. It is slowly killing me.

I was always there when they needed me, but suddenly, when I needed them, they were gone. They were busy as always.

From memories to experiences I was there with them, but still, they forgot about me. I was always forgotten. I wasn't noticed.

I was always on there side, guiding them, supporting them, giving them advices. But why? Why can't they show a little bit of appreciation?

Why can't they remember me? I was always there. Laughing with them in happiness, crying with them in sadness.

I always listen to them when they need an ear when they fought with their other friend, but suddenly, when they were okay, I was forgotten, again.

I need to get used to it. Well, I am used to it. The pain, it's killing me. But I'm starting to get used to the pain.

"Reena!" My best friend Zia called me late in the night. It looks like she's sobbing.

She's my best friend but I'm not her best friend. Cool right? Haha.

"Oh Zia? Why are you calling this late at night?" I asked her.

"Jennifer backstabbed me!" She shouted and started crying loudly.

Right. She only remembers me when she needs me. After this issue, I'll be forgotten again.

"Can you comfort me? I'm so lonely," she said and cried. It's up to me to comfort her again.

But, when it comes to me, nobody comforts me.

"Don't worry. Your not the only one who's lonely. I'm a lonely friend too." I answered her.

After a few hours of comforting her and making her feel better. I know, she'll forget me again.

"Thanks Reena." She said and dropped the phone.

This is the sign, that this is the start again. I'm starting to fade in their lives again.

Well, I'll walk this empty street. I walk alone. My shadow is the only one that walks beside me. Sometimes, I wish someone out there will find me. 

Till then, I walk alone.
