The next day at school, Hayes comes over to my locker.

''Hey, about yesterday, I'm sorry for storming off like I did. I just...'' Hayes apologizes.

I sigh. "It's okay. I just don't understand why.'' I tell him.

"Uh... well, ill tell you later. Why don't you come over after school?''

"Okay. Sure. I mean, we did say we were going to hang out more so why not.''

"Yea. Exactly. I'll meet you at right here at the end of the day.''

I smile and nod and shut my locker. He walks away and I turn to my other side and see Jess, starring at me with raised eyebrows.

"What?'' I ask for the look.

"Oh you know very well what.''

"Umm, sorry but no. I don't.''

She sighs. "Hayes! What is with you two lately?!''

"were just trying to hangout more. That's all.''

"You know he just wants to get in your pants, right?''

I glare at her. "Stop.''

"no. I'm four friend. Its my job to protect you from fuckboys.''

I roll my eyes and just start walking to class.
