I should've known this wouldn't last long. How stupid was I to bring someone into this life.
The gang that made Dean and I meet, they were the same age as us. They were the group at school that everyone would avoid and since it was summer they needed people to torture. The leaders name was Chance. They had heard rumors about me. And what they did was horrible. They didn't want someone like me in their town. And they knew exactly how to get me out. They kidnapped Dean, and told me to come to the park at 8. I cared about Dean, I had to go. I got him into this mess, and I have to get him out. They had him tied up. When I walked up they grabbed me and Chance said "Now there will be no trouble or Dean here will get hurt, ok?" I don't try to resist them, they tie me up next to Dean. But not close enough to touch him. "Now here is how this is going to go," Chance started to explain. " We are going to make you admit what you are, and then Dean here will have to watch us torture you until you die." "Now you can just admit it right now and save Dean here some pain." He looks at me, to see if I take the offer. I just stare at him, saying nothing. "Ok then." He nods at his 'boys' and they start to beat up Dean. His screams were piercing. "That's enough, don't spoil the meat too much now," Chance says to stop them. Dean's face was horrible. Blood running down from his nose and busted up lip to his chin. His left eye already starting to swell. I still didn't say anything. Chance takes out a knife, and walks over to Dean. " Don't please, it's not him you want," I say. "True but he's the only way we can make you turn." Chance says knowing if I turn I can easily break free. Chance hold the knife near Deans stomach. Then in a split second he slides it in, Deans screams were unbearable. He kept twisting the knife, making the screams louder. I could take it, I could feel myself beginning to change. My blood boiled in anger as my eyes started to change as well. They were turning red, before Chance could turn. I let out a scream that turned into a howl as I stood there growling. I knew I looked terrifying, the other boys stepped away. Dean's look pierced me, he was scared.. Scared of me. A look I hoped I would never see on his face. "Aye there we go, your true form. You see Dean, this creature is what you've been with," Chance's words were loud and clear. "Tie her up boys." Before I could move, cold, hard, metal chains wrapped around me. They pulled at my neck and tied it to a tree. I felt like a chained dog. Chance walked over to me, "Now you will suffer for what you are." He dragged the warm, blood stained knife through my soft fur into my flesh. He cut me straight down my side. I howled but that didn't stop him. One of the other boys came over and swung a metal baseball bat right at my right hind leg. It smacked with a stomach wrenching crack as my bone shattered. I fell, howling, screeching in pain. Another boy thought a whip would be a good idea. The fast stings at my side brought blood flying. I look at Dean with soft suffering eyes. He wasn't looking, how could he. He was scared of me but yet he still couldn't watch me being tortured. The slides of the sharp metal slicing so gracefully through my flesh, the nonstop stings that sent little splatters of thick red liquid flying, the cold bang of the bat crushing my bones. I couldn't take it, I've felt pain. But nothing like this. I wanted to tell Dean I was sorry but all I could make was a soft whimper as I laid my head onto the red stained grass, and closed my tired eyes.
