Love Struck

Chapter 1

*Kalie's POV*

"I can't believe this! There goes another girl. Girls don't deserve what he is doing to them." I stated while watching the poor girl run away with tears running down her eyes. And when I glared at the table where Alex sat they were laughing like the thing happened a few seconds ago didn't happen at all.

"Kal, I'm so confused. Why are you so pissed off with Alex? It's not like you have feelings for him do you?" Jessie said with a confused look on her face.

"What the hell?! Do you really think I, Kalie Wesley like that freak?!" I shouted. I mean, Alexander George Jameson was my best friend when we were 12 but things changed when we turned grade 7. He became such a jerk. He always pushed me around. But I can't do anything because our parents are best friends.

Then Xavier, Jessie's mate, came up to our table and sat beside Jessie and whispered, "What's her problem?" But I could still hear them because wolf senses are strong.

"Nothing. She's just pissed off 'cuz Alex broke another girl's heart" Jessie said and she ended it with a sigh.

Xavier sighed, stared at me and then took my hands. "You know what Kal? Just forget about him. Just think about your great day tomorrow." Xavier stated. I made a confusing look and said, "Huh? What do you mean?" I was so confused.
Xavier chuckled and said, " Nothing."

When the bell rang, I was the first out of my seat.

When school was done, I directly went to the parking lot and went in my car. I was waiting for Jessie because she said she would want a ride.

"Kalie!!!" I heard someone about my name. Then I realized it was just Jessie.

"What the hell took you so long Jess?!" I shouted. "Sorry, Xavier wanted me to get a ride at his car but I refused. Then he said, 'come on! You are my mate right? You should ride with me!' And I was like 'Maybe-" I cutted her off by clearing my throat and sighed. Then I said, "Jess, can we get going now 'cuz Marcus and Cassie are going to our house by 5. You can continue your story on the way."

"Wait! Do you mean Marcus and Cassie, the parents of Alex?!?" She said excitedly.
"Yeah, unfortunately Alex will be there. Now get in the car!" I growled at her but I didn't mean to use my alpha voice at her. So she got in the car and we took off. Her head was looking down the whole time.

"Jess?" I looked at her with worried eyes. "Hmm?" She asked. "We're here. And.... Sorry for using my alpha voice at you earlier." As I looked at her with worried and sad eyes. "Kal, it's alright. I know I was being annoying and sorry." As she smiled at me, she left the car.

When I got home I was shocked. Alex and his parents were already in the living room with my parents. When they heard the door snapped open, they all stared at me. It was a few moments of silence when suddenly my mom spoke, "Oh! Great! Your here! How was your day sweetie?"
"It was great mom, I'll be in my room if you need me." As I ran up the stairs, dad shouted, "Kalie Louise Wesley! Get down here this instant! We have to talk!" I ran down the stairs and said, "Yeah?"
"Kalie, of course you know Alexander here, right? Since your best friends." He said,
"Dad, we 'were' best friends. And please! Leave me alone? If you could just do that. PLEASE!" I shouted. "Fine dear, good night. I love you." He said
"Night! Love you too!" I answered back and sighed.
