Cuz I swear that's its just hate
And its all a mistake
We've realized way too late
That its all just a fake
Makes you wanna drown in a lake
Not realizing what's at stake
The shit that always will make
A man throw it all aside
Not noticing the tide
Not knowing that she lied
Knowing that she hadn't tried
And now his heart is fried
So cold that it burned
And yet he still hasn't learned
That love has to be earned
That love is always yearned
But his heart has been turned
Even his mama noticed its loss
That he's no longer the boss
Hes no longer hitting the nos
Its all going slow
His heart will not grow
But somehow he knows
That love is so cold
