Laura sighed as she rocked her one year old baby gently back and fourth, soothing her crying child. She had been up all night and most of the morning trying to do so.

"Mom!" Her son screamed out. "Lucy is being mean!"

Two four year old children ran in,pushing and shoving each other.

"Nu uh! Jona took my dolly!" She stomped her little foot. Jona shook his head furiously, blond curls identical to his sister's bouncing about.

"No! She took my captin america!" Laura sighed and took the action figure from them and gave them both their lunch for school. Mondays were always the hardest for her.

"No fighting. Now be good and get your school bags and get into the car." She kissed their forheads and they bounded away. She smiled and got her keys. She made sure that the soft blue blanket was tightly wrapped around her little christian. She placed a gentle kiss on his soft skin before walking out the door to her car where the twins were fighting again over who knows what.

After laura drove them to school, she drove back home, happy to have some peace and quiet. That is...untill little christian decided to scream his small lungs out.

Laura sighed and turned around to look at her baby, whailing away in his car seat. She parked in front small house and took her baby out, cradleing him to her lovingly. She walked to her front yard where her small metal mail box was posted.

She looked through it only to find it empty and she walked to her front door, trying to calm her son. She would have missed the red envalope had her keys not fallen next to them when she tried to unlock her door. She brushed back strait blond strands from her line of vision and picked up the keys and envalope.

She set the envalope down on the counter. After an hour or so, she finally got her baby to sleep and was about to do the same when the red envelope caught her attention again. She picked it up and took it to her bedroom and sat down on her bed, observing it. She frowned. It had absolutely nothing written or marked on it.

Cautiously, she opened the envelope and began to read the words scrawled on by hand.

Dear Laura,

I know it's been years since you've last heard of me but I want you to know that I still remember you, and I hope that you remember me. You were the only person I really trusted in this world. Please assure my mother that I'm happy and ok. I don't know how, but please make sure she's happy. Under no conditions are you to show this letter to anyone else. You will be receiving multiple letters from me, since I can't write it all in one thing. He never let me keep a diary or anything for that matter. Don't worry about anything, just know that I want you to read this. I need someone to share my story too or it will drive me insane. You know how I am. I can't keep quiet about anything. Anyway, this is just the beginning of letters to come.
