Evil Smile
At half past midnight, I heard a loud cry,
Of a woman in her mid twenties screaming, "Why?"
Asking why her life took that miserable turn,
That left her to herself, to burnShe lost her parents, her only joy,
After being played by her husband like a toy,
She sat there with tears down her face,
Feeling hollow and feeling like a disgrace'Good for nothing' as she was always called,
She felt the pain today with her fallEvery breath felt like a needle pierce, As her face was hot because of the surge of tears,
And in the end she lay by the grave,
Wishing it would open up and take her awayShe hit the ground in an angry state,
Her mind not willing to believe her fate. And down below, the devil had an evil smile,
As he knew another prey would be ready in a while.
