Why?
It's a simple question.
Why does she cut?
Why does he starve?
Why does she dream of dying?
Why does he come close to overdosing?
The answers are simple.
It's because THEY tell them how worthless they are. But in reality, they aren't. These people may abuse themselves and pretend that everything is okay, but it's not. I is not a message for the victim only.
To all you bullies, to all you abusers of any kind, read on.
Why do you hurt those around you? Are you aware that these humans and animals have feelings, too? They may not show it, because of their fear, but they do. Think before you speak because words CAN hurt. How you act can cause a chain reaction, so use that brain of yours and think.
To the victims of bullies and abusers, animal and human alike, listen up.
Why do you believe them? So what? Who cares? Life isn't about what they think, but rather what you think. You need to start believing in yourself before it's too late. Because trust me, you ARE worth everything. They say that those who are broken are the most dangerous because they know how the real world works.
To those who just stand by, do I really have to be telling you this?
SPEAK UP IDIOTS! If you see something, say something. Don't join in and laugh at the poor innocent soul that the jokes are being directed to. It's wrong. Don't start becoming the abuser. Instead, smile at the victim and stand up for them. If you smile at them, just once, then they'll start to smile. And then they'll start to believe that they are worth something more than what the abusers make them believe.
BUT there's a catch...
No wise words can help. They just can't. The only thing that can help these people are faith. Others need to pray for them, no matter what religion you are. I am Catholic, so I'm going to say get down on your knees and pray for these people. You may not know them, but our God up in heaven will answer them in ways we can't imagine. In addition, the abuser and the victim need to pray. In order to get through life, you need to keep the faith and keep on believing.
Someone once said, this generation will eventually die out of sorrow and end the existence of life for good.
You want to know why this might happen?
Because of the bullying and the abusing.
