In the morning

Chucks pov

I have been spending the night in the slammer it was very uncomfortable, ( I know I didn't write it but he has already spent two nights in the pit now he is waking up from the second night). I woke up at I don't know what time in the morning but it must of have been early because of the stupid doors opening I mean seriously how could they put up with this every day.

I am sitting with an aching back waiting, hoping that someone will be by soon to open up the door to shucking hole in the ground. Then as if they were reading my mind Newt came up to the pit door and knelt down.Staring at me, like he was expecting me to lash out at him or attack him in any way.  I could feel my self feeling very sad, what if they didn't let me out? I could me my eyes getting heavier like I was about fall asleep but for the second time in that week I started to cry.

"Hey there I am not coming to tell you that you being banished or anything I just came to unlock the door and also saying that we better get a move on. You know before Frypan knocks us out with his spatula" Newt said helping me out up as he walked out.

" Sorry just a bit of dust in my eye" I said.

"sure!" Newt said.

" Your late for breakfast ya shanks but since Newt has always been a great and kind friend to me I guess I can get you something to eat" Frypan said. (This guy is way to enthusiastic)

"You can cut the act, but I know I am a great friend so thanks, and I also know that you would've given us food whether I was good friend or not. Enemy or not you never let anyone starve or miss a meal" Newt said.

" Ahh you got me there Newtie" Frypan said trying not to laugh.

" Thanks and don't call me Newtie, come on lets go and find a table" Newt said.
