Something moves.

Something hasn't moved in, well, I couldn't remember. I couldn't remember.

Why couldn't I remember?

My stiff back hits the cold hard floor, and I groan from the sudden excitement. My eyes flutter open to a dark ceiling with a lightbulb big enough to swallow. Jolting up, my eyes do circuits around the room. A bed, a pillow, a light and a small table with a chair. That was it.

My neck cramps and my back hurts, my whole body feels like it just woke up from being mummified, not a good feeling. The tight metal bracelet around my wrist starts to blink, a small red light with a slight ding; all the sudden the bracelet gets really irritating. I attempt to pull it off but can't, I have no strength and my whole body feels like one move can end in death. I lay back, giving up on trying to move or getting myself out of the prison im in.

Why am I here?
Who am I?
What happened?

My memory is non existent, I can't even recall my name. I rack my brain for any info I can remember, but the only thing that comes to my mind is the damn lightbulb I saw when my eyes first opened.
After what felt like hours but was only minutes, I stood up, my legs felt like they do when you first get off of a boat that you have been on for a long time. The wall beside me was my best friend at that point, it was the only thing assuring me I wouldn't fall on my face like an absolute idiot.

The room is silent, except for my heavy breathing and the ding from the cold metal bracelet that my brain is tricking me into hearing, I'm probably going insane.

When I hear footsteps outside my door, I don't believe it.

Your going crazy, no one is coming, your all alone, except it.

But then something slides under the door. I drop to my knees in sorrow and crawl to the door, put my face down to attempt to see out of the underside of the door, big enough to perfectly fit a food tray under. How convenient.
It's completely dark except for the patch of light feeding in from beneath the door. After gaining my energy back from dragging my limp body across the room, I decide to check out the food tray they gave me.
How nice of them to feed me.

I couldn't tell what was in it, a white lump of stuff and a brown slab that was supposed to be meat.  No way in hell THATS meat. A note was provided on the side of it. My numb finger folded it open. After my eyes finally adjusted, a words finally made their way onto the paper.

Welcome Elena,
We are not here to hurt you, but only to help. We saved your life, as you probably don't remember, Earth has been attacked. A alien species called the Kreens came down. We still don't know their intentions, but we do know they can't be good. You, and many others, were saved from their arms not too long ago, they took your memories and they almost took your life. You have been staying in our facility for about a month, we fed you and kept you safe until you wake up, and if you are reading this, it means you just did. There are only a few rules at the moment. 1- there is no leaving without certain death. 2- no killing eachother of any other violent or illegal offense. 3- you will cooperate at all times, or there will be punishments. Sense we saved your lives, we figured you could do us a small favor. The Erkreen have taken many of our peoples lives, maybe even your families, and we want revenge, and that's why your here. You and many others, are here to be our army.
-thank you,
                  B.
