It's summertime, I can't stop thinking about Averee. Like what if I never see her again? Ugh, I finally get a maybe friend, then I mess it up by not even getting her number.
I hope she goes to the same school as me.So now I'm going to my grandma's house. The cab driver pulls into this driveway that does not look like it could be one of my family's houses. "Are you sure this is the right house?" I ask. "Yes. I'm sure, 2873 Washington LN SW right?" He says. "Yes that's right, are my bags in the back?" "Yea, I'll get em." He hands me my bags and I hesitate for a moment, just thinking I'm leaving every thing behind right now. As I walk through the doors I see a beautiful house. It's all blue and red. It's like a dream. "I..Is anyone here?" "Hello?" I say. Since no one is answering I just start walking up the stairs, I see a door that has my name on it... so I'm assuming it's mine. When i open the door, there is this guy in my room. "Hello?" I say. "Oh, hey, sorry.. I'm Blake." "Why are you in here?" "Um I'm your stepbrother. Our grandmother told me to greet you, since she's running to the store." "Ok." I say awkwardly. "Well I'm going to give you some privacy." And like that he was out of my room. Thank God. I unpack, put my stuff in the closet, and take out pictures and stuff. then I look around, I have my own bathroom and a balcony. It's so pretty here, maybe it won't be so bad.Then i here the front door open, and anxiety hits me. I start worrying again. I sit on my bed, the door opens.....
