Chapter 9- Does It Count

Angelica POV

I woke up in the pack hospital, where i saw jake was out in the halway talking to the Eric the pack doctor. Trust me it was unusual for me to be here, i was here on many different occasion i was clumsy child but i also had anger issues I use to gang fight back when i was younger like when 16-17 but i stopped last year.

I sat up wincing noticing the small bandage wrapped around my arm, i undid it and noticed a pretty deep male scratch. It was nothing bad just something a male wolf does to their mate to mark domiance and considering the lack of depth in the cut he didn't win dominace. I then realized something i blacked out and shifted....so there goes hiding the fact i have already shifted.

Alexis 'well we failed that' my wolf

Angelica 'Ya think'

Alexis 'awe you love me' she replied

Angelica "no duh i have to your my wolf'

I laughed and closed the mind chat with my wolf, yeah her name is Alexis. I wanted to keep her hidden because i'm a white wolf and i have a cresent moon symbol on my leg which makes me a Royal Warrior decendent and i just wanted to be normal ya know.

My mom and dad warned me about this when i was 17

~Flashback~

"Sweetheart can you come in here"

"Yes mom?" I asked confusing sitting on the opposite side of the couch

"We have something to talk to you about" My dad said worry in his eyes

"Yeah?" I said confused

"You remember grandma beth, the one who use to tell you about when you were a kid?" My mom asked

"Why yeah, the stories you told me were badass and she sounded special" i said smiling at the memory

"Well there was something we didn't tell you" my dad said

"Whats that?" I asked

"Your grandma was a royal Warrior" My mom blurted

"She was what?!" I yelled alarmed

"Your mothers, mom your grandmother was a direct decendent of the Royal Warriors, the royals if you need me to be any clearer" my dad explained

"Wait so we are royal?" I asked confused

"No sweetheart, i didn't get the mark" my mom said sadly

"Huh?" I asked confused

"See when you transform you bare a mark on your leg of a white cresent moon meaning you were deemed worthy of being a Royal its a honor and a curse because you'll have to go through intense training and the prophecy will be awoken again" my mom said holding herself

"What prophecy"

"The one with the mark will battle the dark witch, she will steal what the light loves the most but the light will be the savour of all wolf kind. She will battle alongside her mate after winning his mind in a heated battle were she shall die and be reborn a angel of light if she has a untainted heart...if she isnt deemed pure she will perish for entirenty and the dark will take over" my dad said

"Wait your saying if i get the mark when i transform...i'll die?" I screamed

"I dont know baby, i don't know" she cried

"We had to warn you" my dad said holding my mother

~flashback over~

I sat and shook my mind of the memory know there was no hiding the fact i did bare the cresent moon mark. There was no ignoring the prophecy or my destiny and the fact was it was my mate that awokened my wolf and that pissed me off.

In walked in Jake with a spaced out look on his face like he was thinking in a different world, different demention....but all i could remember was the fact he had a child.

"You have a daughter" i said pain hitting my heart, his head snapped to me and his face fell

"It wasnt supposed to happen, too many drinks, somebody poisoned my drink with wolvesbain and next thing i remembered i was laying next to another she wolf, i regreted sleepig with her i wanted to forget until 3 months later she found me with a pregnant stomah saying the baby was mine" he said defeated

"She sounds like a bitch" I said growling, what I never said i didn't swear I just don't like cussing in the morning

"She is, when she found out i was coming back to be with my mate she flipped but she knew i could kill her for she is a rouge" He said running his hand through his hair

"So you know" I said

"Yeah cresent moon mark" he said looking at my leg

"I hate it honestly my life has been taking away from me because of a mark" i said sighing

"I wont let anything happen to you" he said growling

"I love your determination but you cant change destiny" I said sighing

"Fucking watch me!" He growled and transformed into a giant black wolf and ran out of the hosiptal room.

Sigh....
