Chapter 1
Emma's POV

"Truth or Dare?" Niall asked
"Dare."
That was the one word that changed my life for forever.
"I dare you to kiss me!"
"But Niall you just got over a break up... and... I've never kissed anyone... I don't want to screw it up...."
"Come on! It'll be good practice!"
"Okay.."
It went by so fast... Niall just leaned in and kissed me! Sparks flew! I wanted it to last for forever. But unfortunately it only lasted about 3 seconds..
"I err... I'm tired." Niall said
Wow was I really that bad?
"You weren't bad! You did great for your first kiss!"
"What's that supposed to mean?! It's not like you've kissed millions of girls!"
"Look, we are only 13, right?"
"Says the guy who HAD a girlfriend. Says the guy who said the dare."
"Wow, wow, wow! Okay, fine, I didn't want to say this but you were great! In fact I'm pretty sure I felt sparks."
I started to blush
"Do you really mean it?" I asked
"Of course I do." Niall said, "Good night, Love." Niall kissed me on the cheek and walked away to where he was sleeping. Which was down stairs on the couch. Its 12am and I'm not tired...
2 Hours later
I woke up panting and covered in sweat. I'm really scared right now because I had a nightmare! It was about Niall trying to kill me...
Now I'm in my dark room all alone...
I have decided to run down stairs and wake up Niall.
"Niall" I whispered, and repeated it about 10 times
"NIALL!" I whisper shouted and sat on him
"WHAT!"
"I had a scary dream..."
"Awww, come cuddle me and tell me about your dream."
"Well, you left when we were 16 to go on this singing show and never came back till we were 20 and you found me and tried to kill me..."
"That will never happen! I will never leave you or try to kill you. And I can assure you that!"
"Promise?"
"Promise."
Three years later (Age 16)
Niall called me today
"OH MY GOSH! EMMA!!! GUESS WHAT!!" Niall screamed with joy into the phone
"WHAT?!"
I will tell you two things, ever since that night when Niall and I were 13 we've been closer then ever! But we never did date..
"X FACTOR ACCEPTED ME!!"
"What."
"I KNOW ISN'T IT GREAT!"
"You're breaking your promise!" I screamed
"What promise?"
"YOU FORGOT?! YOU DON'T REMEMBER THAT NIGHT WHEN WE WERE 13 AND YOU PROMISED TO NEVER LEAVE ME?!"
"Oh... that promise........... I'm sorry... Emma, I'm just trying to follow my dreams! I promise to call, text, and video chat you!"
"You'll probably just break that promise too..." I mumbled
"I'm just gonna ignore that comment... Emma, I leave in a week for bootcamp."
"I love how you tell me these things."
"I JUST FOUND OUT!"
"Sor-ry."
I don't want Niall to leave... there's no way that his mum is letting him leave! Ha-ha Niall! You're not leaving now!
"Niall?"
"Hmm?"
"What about your mum? She won't let you leave!"
"I already talked to her, she's proud of me! And is letting me go, but then she went in her room and started crying I think..."
"Niall! You can't just leave your mum like that!"
"Okay, okay, I'll go check on her! Talk to you later."
"Bye"
Hmm... I wonder if Niall still likes me... anyways! Niall will not be leaving!
The day Niall leaves
Well... Niall is still leaving, my mission has fail...
He's by the car saying good bye to everyone
"Niall! Can I talk to inside for a moment?" I asked
"Uhh, sure!" I said then jogged inside
"I'm really gonna miss you..."
"I'm gonna miss you too!"
"Niall?"
"Yes?"
"Do you still have a crush on me?"
"Uhh, yeah!" Niall said smiling, "Do you?"
"Yes!" I said then kissed him, "That was for good luck!"
"Uh huh sure! Emma, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Hmm... how about you talk to me after the X Factor." I said and winked. Niall looked sad, "Niall, its not a yes and its not a no. Cheer up! You're gonna have millions of fans by the end of this and they're all gonna be super pretty!" I kissed Niall one more time expecting it to be a short kiss but Niall didn't, he made it into a full snog session! It was the best kiss I ever had, but I had to pull away...
"Niall, you're gonna be late..."
"I know... will you please come with me! I'll call Simon to see if you can just come with me to hang out! Please, please, please!"
"Okay Niall, you can ask but I don't think they'll let me go."
Niall walk over to me looking sad...
He was talking with his head down, "Simon said that you..." He looked up with a big smile, "Can come and stay for 2-3 months!"
"OH MY GOSH!!" I screamed, freaking out I jumped in Niall's arms and kissed him, everyone saw. All of our parents and siblings... but they just smiled.
I ran to my house and packed everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, and ran back. We were on the road in 10 minutes.
