Phil sneaks up behind Dan, making sure not to make any noise. He clicks the alien mask on, and moves another step forward. Dan, he knows, is a heavy sleeper, so as long as he doesn't accidentally squeeze the air horn (and the silly string), he should be able to surprise him.
Once he's in a good spot, Phil squishes the air horn a bit, and it lets out a sad wail. Dan is slowly waking up from his laptop-induced nap, rubbing his eyes, and Phil gets ready to make his attack. He's fully awake, now, staring at the other man, and in a panic, Phil starts doing some weird improvised dance, stopping ever so often to spray the silly string. By the end of his "performance", Dan is staring at him with the most confused face ever. Phil ends his spiel with a shaky "I BELIEVE" coming from his mouth. Dan muffles his moan in his pillow, and replies.
"No."
He's seen the same event many times before, and he's always found it endearing. Dan groans, in annoyance this time. "I just fell asleep, Phil."
Phil just grins. "With pleasure!" He bows awkwardly and walks out of the room, dragging the silly string behind him. Dan sighs, and looks around. It'll take him a while to clean this up.
