I'm listening to "Kids in the Dark- by All Time Low" and trying to read. It's hard when my sister, Eleanor (16), is in the room next to me dancing and practicing for ballet. You'd think it would be quiet but it's the complete opposite. Ballet dancers hurt their toes, feet, and muscles then sometimes cry or scream in pain, it's truly awful to hear when I'm trying to relax and just read or watch a movie then all of a sudden I hear so much noise caused from pain come from my sister's room, and it's right next to mine. Then when Eleanor walks around the house barefoot the sight of her feet aren't the most pleasant thing to see, either.

The sound of my sister's pounding and jumping gets quieter. I hear the sound of her feet come close to my room, though, and I can tell that she's about to interrupt my joy reading, like always. Even with my music blasting through my earbuds on the loudest they can get, yet Eleanor is still louder.

"Frankky! Come down for dinner!" My sister yells, knocking on my door, since she knows I always have my earbuds in. She has learned her lesson after trying to knock without yelling and I didn't hear her. Eleanor is one year younger than me and completely stubborn but I love my sis.

I press pause on the song and get up. "I'll be right out."

There's a thud that comes from outside and I look outside to see what it was. There's a moving truck outside of the house next door to us. The house has been empty for quite a while and I've wondered when someone would move into it and it's finally happening. I look to the front door of the house and there's a handsome teenage boy with black hair and icy blue eyes picking up a box that he had dropped to the ground. I faintly hear him say, "Fuck."

An older female softly laughs at him. "Don't cuss. I gave you the clothes so you wouldn't break the fucking valuables."

The boy groans to her. "Mom, you seriously just cussed." I guess the lady is his mom.

I feel so tempted to go outside and meet him, but he's helping his mom unpack the moving truck. Plus, I'm more of a loner who constantly watches Netflix, eats, and stays inside my house with my best friend, Mitchell. He's always over and my parents don't mind, neither does my sister.

"Frank!" My sister yells again. The boy's mom says another thing and the boy snickers at it. I was trying to listen in on the conversation, just to get to know my neighbors better without them knowing it, but Eleanor ruined that.

"Don't call me that, Eliot." That's the only nickname she likes to be called from us. We tried Ellie but she thought it was too girly, although, my sister is such a girly girl.

"Just come out for dinnner." She drags the word dinner out, long and slow as if eating food was such a chore.

I walk over to my door and open it, seeing Ellie outside of it on her phone. "Move it, Ellie."

She gives me an ice cold stare all I do is smile back and flip her off. I push her to the side then run down the stairs. My mom, Jessica (39), is a great cook and I always love eating her food.

There's a gentle knock coming from the front door.
