THE EDGE

I stand alone. I travel alone. Most of all I believed I was alone.

Suddenly my heart was beating at an alarming rate. I felt the wind knocked out of me. Blood was streaming through my veins.  Instantly and spontaneously i turned around.  I looked high and low. Nothing, there was utter silence throughout the forest. My eyes were filled with fright for they knew not what was watching me.

"Show yourself", I exclaimed.  "Unless you are afraid of the unexpected".

On that note there appeared before me God's creatures large and small, all of equal importance.

Night turned into day as I fell to my knees in awe.

In this special place there was equality, unity, love, and understanding for all.  This is undeniable.

Our World is desperately pleading for more of these desirable qualities in each of us.

I hope people will unite and search for the soul in every creature.
