Why in the world would he want to talk to me after so many years of not even a glance.
"Hey, Kacey.. what's the answer to this question? I've been trying to get your attention for like 10 minutes. What's up? Amanda barked.
"Manda, I'm sorry. Just zoned out. Uh, that answer's C." I answered.
"Thanks" Amanda sighed.
I turned my head back to the board and just listened to the whiny voice of my teacher. The bell rang and I gathered my things as I slowly realized what was waiting for me down the hall. Amanda shoved pass me and stood in front of me like she was waiting for some explanation.
"What?" I said.
"Umm, what is up with you today?" Amanda snaped.
"Nothing. I just want to go home" I breathed.
"Uh. Okay. Bye " Amanda said as she turned and left.
Great, she's pissed.
