Second Chances

Take it From me DON'T GET DRUNK

I was walking through the streets of Manhattan with Lin, still trying to blow off the rage I still felt from that slut talking to Lin!!

"Em, EM!"Lin said in a pleading voice.

"What Lin" I said in an exasperated voice letting out a sigh of defeat. I know I was being petty because Lin and I weren't together but still I felt cheated and confused. But for some reason I don't quite understand why I feel confused but it scares me.

"I want to know what I did wrong, why are you mad" Lin looked like he wanted to punch something and then cry, but he held it in.

" I-Ihavetogoonajoghaveagreatdayloveyaseeyabye"
I said really fast then ran off. 

I just couldn't face him the way I was and so I did the most responsible thing a grown woman can do ran away in 7 inch stilettos from the man I couldn't face at the moment.

When I was finally  far enough from him, I took a look at my surroundings I noticed I ran to Lin and I's favorite picnicking spot. I took a seat on a shady patch of grass nearby and laid down to close my eyes.  

----------Time skip to 7 hours later---------------

I felt a light tap on my  shoulder but kept sleeping. I was tired and had runny mascara somehow? I don't know why though seeing as I haven't been crying.

The taping continued until I opened my eyes. I would have screamed if Lin hand not wrapped me into a tight but gentle and loving hug.
" shh shh it's ok I don't want you to be mad at me and I'm sorry I made you mad" he cooed as he ran his fingers through my hair and rubbed my back.

Once I had calmed down we went for lunch. We arrived at Tacos Manuel and ordered two carné asada tacos and two cokes then went to find a table.

Once our tacos were ready Lin went back to grab them. I turned my head and didn't notice that someone had slipped into the booth until I felt a stinging sensation on my cheek. "That's for practically dragging Lin away from me and for being a rude ass BITCH!!" The slut from earlier said.

Claire what are you- OH MY GOD EMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE??!!" Lin screamed.

"Let's see how he likes you now" Claire snickered and got up to greet Lin. She was about to hug him when Lin said "well!! I asked you what happened to your face are you going to tell me or not!" Lin said.

A sudden look of horror crossed Claire's face but was soon replaced with a smug grin and a look of superiority. As Claire said "oh Lin darling she probably just tripped and fell nothing to be worried about" Lin just looked at her like she was the most idiotic person on earth.

"Are you stupid anyone can clearly see a hand print on the side of my precious little Embers face!!!!" Lin said angrily.

"Well to add to the fire it was actually your little girlfriend here who decided to slap me for dragging you away with me and for being a BITCH and she says and I'm guessing from the look on her face right now she didn't think I would actually tell you the truth... So HA" Ember said with fire in every word she spoke.

Lin turned slowly around and as calmly as he could said "Claire get YOUR FUCKING SILICONE ASS OUT OF THIS FUCKING RESTAURANT BEFORE I GET ANY ANGRIER"

"b-but Lin I-i" Claire said.

"I DON'T CARE I WANT YOU OUT AND AWAY FROM ME AND EMBER NOW GET THE FUCKING HELL OUT OF HERE!!!" Lin screamed angrily.

It kinda scared me to because I have never seen him angry before even less with steam coming out of his ears.

Claire managed to squeak out an Ok and the scurried away into the busy late night streets of Manhattan.

While this was going on I managed to order a bottle of tequila and get myself drunk. Oh what a responsible adult I am.

"Ember are you okay?"Lin and took my face into his hands carefully as if I would break at the slights movement.

It wasn't until then I noticed it was bleeding that bitch made sure to cut me with all her fake rings damn it!
"It's ok you are still beautiful in my eyes"Lin said and started to clean me up. When he was done cleaning me up we took out order to go and went to my house.

"The tacos are a little cold but they are still good huh"Lin said. I stayed quiet so I wouldn't say something rude.

"Em Em please talk to me please" Lin pleaded tears in his beautiful chocolate brown eyes.

"Lin I just need to take a vacation or something and get away for here, I feel like I'm suffocating and I don't know why" I said.

"Ok well I have some time off how about we go to San Fransisco?" Lin said.

"U-uum ok"I said.

"Well let's get some sleep, I'll see you tomorrow bye"Lin said and walked to the door.

Once Lin left and went to his condo which is one floor above mine, I got ready get for bed. 

Guess I'm going to San Fransisco.

I was walking to my bed when my stomach did a 180 and decided my next stop was my toilet seat. I ran to the restroom and threw up everything. I guess having a small bottle of tequila will do that to you if you don't drink to often.

After that everything became fuzzy and my world tilted slightly and blacked out.
