Unimaginable

The world was just one big blur to Steve after waking up from a well rested sleep of 70 years. All he really knew how to do as a man out of his time in this new advanced world was to use the bathroom.

And then, came Y/N. She was assigned to help him learn, to teach him how to function in his new life. She taught him many things he would've never been able to understand. His gratitude towards her was unimaginable.

He loved how she would always be there to show him what to do, and how she would always be on his butt about learning technology. He loved her persistence, he loved her determination, he loved her stubbornness, he loved her humor... He loved her.

He fell in love with her half smile, he fell in love with her freckles dotting her face. He fell in love with her bright eyes, and how they would always be lit up and brought happiness to them room. He loved her laugh, as much as she hated it.

He could never gather up the courage to tell her, because he'd grow too nervous. He'd begin to feel clammy, and he'd stutter. She laughed it off, and she didn't even know that he felt the same for her as she did him. She was oblivious to the smallest things sometimes.

She just meant so much to him, and he wouldn't know what to do without her.
