Chapter 1

Addilyn's P.O.V.

My heart pumped as I made my way off the stage with a smile on my face.

"Good job, babe!" Justin yelled placing a kiss on my cheek. I laughed and pushed him off me.

"Go on stage before your fans get impatient" I laughed.

"You mean our fans?" He smiled cutely. Before I was able to answer, he was already on the stage greeting his fans that managed to sell out the stadium.

I turned around and found Derek with a smirk on his face.

I rolled my eyes and made my way towards my dressing room, Derek hot on my trail.

We walked into my dressing room and Derek closed the door behind him. I sighed awaiting for him to just spit it out as I sat at the vanity taking off my makeup.

"So you and Justin eh?" Derek smirked, raising his eyebrows suggestively.

"Derek, not this again, please." I closed my eyes.

"Why not Addy? You deserve to be happy!" Derek let out a breath of air as he took a seat on the couch knowing that this conversation would take a while.

"Yea and at what cost Derek?" I half yelled.

"You can't let him control your life like this!" Derek half shouted back.

I closed my eyes as all the memories came flooding back. It had been 7 months since I had last spoken to any of them and to say I was still hurt would be an understatement.

He had manged to break me and there was no going back. I was broken beyond repair and I don't think anyone can fix me.

These past 7 months I've been trying to focus on my music and I've just recently joined tour with Justin. Speaking of Justin, he was always there to help me during my breakdowns, besides Derek of course, and throughout that time we've managed to get close. So much as that the media and his fans suspect that we're going out, but that's not the case. There has been many times when Justin has offered me a relationship but I don't think I could manage that at the moment. I'm am still trying to get over Nate and another relationship would only make things worse. It's not that I didn't want a relationship with Justin, I just didn't want to ruin him.

"Addilyn!" I looked up startled as Derek looked at me concerned.
"You're doing it again."

"Sorry, I was just thinking." I sent him a small smile.

"So what song are you performing tomorrow during the award show?" I was thankful Derek had changed the subject.

"It's a surprise" I sent him a smile. Before he was able to protest Justin walked into the room all sweaty.

"Justin don't." He sent me a smirk and made his way towards me. I tried to get up and make a run for it, but it was too late. He had his sweaty arms wrapped around me.

"EWWW Justin!" I groaned. He simply laughed and let me go after placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Dinner?" Justin asked. I looked over at Derek who simply smirked and sent a thumbs up my way.

"Go take a shower first." I laughed, pushing him out of the room.

"Of course my love!" He kissed my cheek and exited my dressing room.

"All I'm saying is you should give him a chance." Derek kissed my head and exited the room as well.

I sighed and looked up and my reflection. "Maybe I will."
