Addilyn's P.O.V.

"Uh uh... I really have to go actually." I stuttered out as I attempted to walk past him.

He grabbed my arm and gently pulled me back. "I just need five minutes."

I looked up at his hypnotizing eyes and sighed as I walked back into the dressing room and sat down on one of the couches.

He followed me back inside and sat across from me. I crossed one leg over the other and looked down at my hands.

"I'm sorry." My eyes welled up as the words left his mouth.

"It's a little too late for that don't you think?" I laughed unamused.

"I never meant to hurt you. You were never supposed to find out." Nate tried to explain.

I stood up from my seat and laughed as I shook my head. "Well that didn't work out for you, now did it?"

"No it didn't. But that doesn't mean I didn't love you. Hell, I still fucking love you but you can't even fucking look at me without hurt flashing in your eyes and that fucking kills me." Nate looked at me with so much emotion in his eyes that I wish I could just jump in his arms and everything would be okay, but this isn't a fantasy. This is reality, and in reality, I couldn't forgive him for what he did to me.

"You can't do that Nathan. You can't just barge into my life after being gone for months." I muttered.

"You think I wanted to be away from you? I tried Addilyn! I fucken tried but all you did was reject my fucking calls and change your number." He half yelled.

"What did you expect me to do Nathan? Welcome you back with open arms? Throw a welcome back party and pretend like our whole relationship wasn't just some stupid bet to you?" I yelled.

"It was like that at the beginning but I fell for you, and I fell hard." His eyes watered.

"Is everything alright Addy?" I turned towards Justin who I hadn't even noticed had came inside.

I looked back towards Nate who had a glare on his face and back towards Justin. I wiped my cheeks and nodded my head. "Our car is waiting outiside."

"Your car? What are you guys going out now?" Nate seethed.

"That's none of your business, now if you'll excuse us, we have a car waiting outside." I saw the hurt flash in Nate's eyes and for a second I regretted it but I quickly shook my head and reminded myself that what he put me through was much worse.

I grabbed Justin's outstretched hand and walked out the room without looking back.

As Justin walked me down the halls people kept congratulating me for my performance but I was completely out of it and only managed to say a small thank you followed by a fake smile.

I slipped in the back seat, Justin doing the same, and stared down at my hand, the permanent black ink coming into view. I traced the letters with my pointer finger.

"You okay?" Justin asked concerned. I nodded as he looked down at my hands and sighed. He took my hands in his own and kissed my palm. "I'm here for you, always." I managed a small smile as I looked up at Justin's face.

I watched as his eyes held adoration and love and realized what I had to do.

I took Justin's face in my hands and closed the space between us. Our lips moved in sync as he wrapped his arms around me. I could feel the love through the kiss but I couldn't portray it back. I didn't love Justin, but with time I'm sure I could learn to love the person that has been there for me these past couple of months.

And maybe everything will turn out okay.
