"Taxi!" He sighed, watching once again, the taxi ignoring him.
"I told you we should've left earlier, but someone was taking forever debating on whether to wear the suit or not!" Winter glared at her, he knew how quickly his sister could lose her tempter.
She sighed and stood up, waving only once, and a taxi pulled over.
She gave him a smug look,
"I get front seat"
Winter sighed, he hated sitting in back, but knew she always got front seat no matter what.
Not even driving for 10 minutes and instantly they were stuck in traffic
"I knew we sh-"
"Don't even say it Abey, I know." He sighed,
"Why don't we turn on the radio?" She suggested, breaking the awkward silence.
A voice came on,
A sudden outbreak of a sickness has happened....
It sparked Winter's interest,
"Sickness?" He looked at Abey, her expression copying his, they continued listening,
We are unsure what it is, but it's highly contagious, all public should stay indoors until further notice.
They looked confused, what kind of sickness?
A loud bang came from ahead,
...What's that? We have received an update, something is on the main bridge to....
Winter and Abey got out of the car,
Something horrific screeched, loud bangs like cars being thrown could be heard up ahead, people were running in their direction, away from what ever was up ahead.
"Abey, we have to go. Now" Abey didn't move, her eyes wide open, horrified yet curious to see what they were running from, she began walking straight
"Abey, come on, we have to go."
He walked around the car to grab her hand, when suddenly something huge was thrown above their heads, barely missing them.
Abey screamed, but not moving,
Winter grabbed her hand and began running, the sounds of windows smashing, people screaming and gunshots could be heard behind them,
All hell broke loose and they didn't know what to do.
Whatever these are... Tanks and air support have been called....
Abey was panting, she couldn't keep up,
"Winter! Slow down!" Winter remembered her asthma.
He turned the corner quickly into a convenience store, Abey sat on the floor, catching her breath
Looking out the windows, Winter seen tanks began driving the opposite direction, soldiers ran quickly running,
"What the fuck is going on?!" Winter yelled, knowing no one could hear them but the others hiding in the store, no one replied.
"Abey we need to go."
"I can't run! You know this!"
"Let's follow the crowd and stay hidden in alley ways, we'll be fine" He looked worried, Abey was terrified.
"Come on"
He grabbed her hand, They walked quickly, people were bumping and shoving their way past them aggressively,
"Winter my hand... you're slipping!" He wasn't paying attention, by the time he did, it was to late, his hand slipped.
"Abey!" He turned around quickly, trying to push by to get to her, but like a sea of water, she was instantly out of sight.
"Abey?! Abey!?" Winter yelled her name, hearing his name in the distance once in a while, he stood there, not sure where his sister could be.
Hundreds of people are evacuating the bridge area quickly, I doubt they even know what they are running from, we don't even know what those things are...
How are they moving so quickly?! Are those even human?!
The ground shook with force, air planes passed over closely
"Move it already!" Winter was pushed to the ground, like a million feet stepped on him, he was unable to stand, by the time he could even sit up, like a giant bolder was throw to his face.
