I Dare You

This is stupid

I cannot believe what im about to do. I've been skinny dipping in some random guys pool, I've been arrested for dressing up like a teddy bear and walking around Walmart, but never have i ever gone to an all boys school.

But alas here i am standing in front of the big doors in my black hoodie, ripped skinny jeans, and my doc martens with a newspaper pattern. "Oh well" i say before opening the door and walking down the busy hall ways.

Not even 5 minutes in and ive grabbed the attention of all the hot hormonal boys. 

Is that a girl? Why is a girl here? 

I roll my eyes and continue down the hall towards the office. I turned the corner and ran into someone. I stumbled backwards but didn't fall. "Watch where your going stupid" he says in a sharp tone. I don't make eye contact "Sorry" he stops whatever it was he was doing and faces his whole body towards me.

"Why is a girl in this school" he says looking at his friends then at me. I looked up at him blank faced "Same reason your here probably" I deadpanned. "And what exactly would that be?" he said getting closer to my face but i didn't flinch or even move "I dont know.. what would that be?" he looked confused by my reply.

"I'm here for attempt in murder" he said smirking, a few of his friends snickering. I laughed inwardly "That's a lie. You'd be in jail" i smiled at him "Okay i have to go. bye" i said waving and running down the hall. What a weird guy. 

Eventually i made it to the office and boy was it nice. I approached the front desk lady and stood there for about 2 minutes before she noticed me. "Oh hi! you must be avery!" i nodded "Awesome awesome! Ok so heres your schedule and the building numbers as well as a map" i took all of the stuff. "Where is the nurse?" i asked politely and she gave me the directions and i headed there.

"Knock Knock" i said as i arrived in the nurses office. She was very pretty maybe in her thirty's "Oh hello you must be the first ever female student that everyone's fawning over. I nodded. We talked a little bit about my medication that has to be taken at certain times and why. We only talked about it for about 2 minutes before she sent me on my way to my first class witch was 2 doors away.

I took a deep breath "It now or never" and with that i opened the door and walked in. The whole classes eyes were on me. Even the teacher. "Oh! You must be avery! I thought you ditched on your first day" and then IT happened "Is that supposed to mean something?" dang it avery! why did you have to snap! not now not in front of all these people! calm down!

 "Uh n-no im sorry if i sparked a nerve" i took a deep breath and started unclenching my fist. "Can i just sit down now? Please?" i said stressing the please "Oh yes your in the back row left side. I gave a slight nod and headed back. All eyes were on me even when i sat down "Take a picture itll last longer! now are we here to stare or to learn how to be good children!? Huh!?" is said slouching in my chair and looking straight at the class.

The class went back to its teaching and about 70% of the boys left me alone the rest didn't. I think some actually took pictures... weird. I was starting to calm down until the boy next to me poked my shoulder. "Hey girl. I dont know why your here but meet me after school and ill show you a good time" he whispered to me. "Sorry i dont feel like it. Im new to this town so ill be exploring it and that will be plenty of fun for me. Thanks for the offer though" The boy looked confused about me answer but i thought it was safist.

"Shut up Jake" the guy on my other side whispered to him. When i turned my head to look at him i froze. It was the boy from earlier. "Hey!" i whisper yelled and he looked at me "I met you earlier!" He looked at me confusingly. "whats your name?" i asked him.

"My names Lance and i presume your Avery" i nodded and smiled. Just then the bell rang and i stood up packing my stuff. Todays was gonna be lame.

After alot of staring and alot of boys talking to me it was finally lunch. I headed into the cafeteria, i didnt look around or put my head down. My head was held high as i apprached the counter. Guess i was late. There wasnt much of a line. I waited in line until i got to the front. "Can i have a water please?" she nodded and handed me a bottle of water. I left the cafeteria and headed to the nurse to take my medication.

After i took it i began rooming the hallways taking in every detail until i approched my locker. I touched the locker lightly, ive never had one before. I smiled at the thought of how cliche this was. 

"Never seen a locker before?" Lance said scaring me from behind "I smiled "No i havent.."

I turned around facing my back to him before looking over my shoulder at him "But i think im satisfied" i said before walking away.
