Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir The Final Battle

Chapter 7 True Identities

Marinette woke up in her room. Sunlight was pouring in through her curtains. She had bandages on her face and her arms. She heard someone beside her and when she looked, she was not happy with who she saw.
"C-Cat Noir?! Wh-What are you doing here?!" Marinette shouted.
Cat Noir who was sleeping with his head down on the edge of the bed suddenly woke up.
"Ladybug! Your ok! Oh my god I was so worried." Cat Noir said with tears.
"L-Ladybug? Y-You know?" Marinette said whispering.
"When you passed out, your Miraculous timed out and you de-transformed. It was...inevitable." Cat Noir said.
As Marinette processed what Cat Noir said, his ring started to beep and was down to the last pad.
"You should get going before you de-transform." Marinette said not looking at Cat Noir.
"I'm not leaving your side." Cat Noir said. The last pad blinked away and Cat Noir's outfit slowly disappeared. When the outfit was gone, the person who stood before Marinette, was none other than Adrien.
"Hi Marinette." Adrien said with a smile. His Kwami, Plagg, sat on his shoulder watching the scene unfold.
"A-Adrien?! Your Cat Noir?!" Marinette said, eyes wide with shock. Her Kwami, Tikki, landed on her shoulder and comforted Marinette who was in shock of what was happening.
"I-I have to go." Marinette said. She went to stand but she fell. Adrien caught her before she hit the ground.
"Your not going anywhere Marinette." Adrien said. He picked her up and set her on the bed.
"Are you okay?" Marinette asked Adrien after a few silent seconds.
"Could be better." he said with a smile.
"How's the gash above your eye?" Marinette asked eyeing the bandage above Adrien's left eye.
"Don't worry about my eye. How do you feel? You got knocked around pretty hard." Adrien said.
Marinette shrugged her shoulders and just sat on her bed in silence not looking at Adrien.
"You must be disappointed it was me." Marinette said with tears starting to flow from her eyes.
"What?! No, Marinette, I could never be disappointed that Ladybug was you. Actually...I was happy when I found out it was you. You must be disappointed that I was Cat Noir. I mean, you get so nervous around me, I always thought you were afraid of me or didn't like me." Adrien said with his head down.
"Adrien, no, I was just...too scared to tell you how I felt about you. I was, and still am, in love with you but I was too afraid you would reject my feelings. Your this big famous model that every girl likes. While I'm just plain old clumsy Marinette." she said with tears.
"Marinette, look at me." Adrien said tilting her head towards him. When she turned he was smiling and he pressed his lips against her. Marinette pulled away and stared at Adrien.
"I-I'm sorry. I should-" His sentence was cut short when Marinette pulled him close and kissed him back.
"I'm glad it was you." Marinette said pulling away with a smile.
"Me too." Adrien said. "And to be honest Marinette, I've always had feelings for you since that first day of school." Adrien said blushing and smiling.
"I did too." Marinette said. "Oh...this may be a bad time to ask but what happened to your father?" Marinette asked hesitantly.
"I...don't want to bring it up now." Adrien said looking into the distance.
"Okay, I won't press." Marinette said hugging Adrien. "Oh Adrien I'm so sorry." she said.
"Thanks Marinette." Adrien said hugging her back.
"Oh my gosh. Where's Nü Rü?!" Marinette asked looking around frantically for the Kwami.
"Relax Marinette, she's resting. Hawk Moth wore her out. She's been exhausted. She's been asleep ever since she was released." Adrien said with concern.
"Adrien...how long have I been asleep?" Marinette said looking down at her blankets.
"Three to four days at least." Adrien said.
"What about my parents what did they say?!" Marinette asked worried.
"I said that you were hurt during one of the battles with one of Hawk Moth's minions. They were worried about you so I told them that I could take care of you while they run the bakery." Adrien explained.
"Thank you." Marinette said relieved. There was a yawn from Nü Rü and she sat up and opened her eyes. When she turned and saw Marinette her eyes grew wide and she smiled and flew over to Marinette.
"Miss Marinette! Your okay!" Nü Rü said hugging Marinette.
"I'm glad your okay too Nü Rü." Marinette said hugging the Kwami back.
"Think it's time to get you something to eat." Adrien said to Marinette.
"Us too right?" all the Kwami's said.
"Yes. You too." Marinette said with a giggle.
(Time Skip)
The day flew by and soon it was night. All the Kwami's were snuggled up in a makeshift bed while Adrien and Marinette slept in one together. Her parents were glad to see her up and awake. They spent the day talking while their Kwami's played around the room. Adrien was about to head home when Marinette's parents asked if he wanted to stay the night. Adrien happily accepted and soon they were in bed.
"Thanks for staying kitty." Marinette said sleepily.
"I'm glad I did M'Lady." Adrien said.
