What are you?

*Elenour's POV*

"Bye mom! I'm going to Louis'" I yell. Grabbing my jacket I walk out the door. I am walking when I hear footsteps behind me. I spin around but no one is there. Taking a deep breath I turn back around and continue walking. I feel a breath down my back.

"Hello?" I say. A hand clasps over my mouth. I try to scream but it comes out muffled. Whoever is holding me leads me to a park. I am thrown on the ground. I look behind me and see Zayn.

"Zayn?! What are you doing?" I look around the park and my eyes meet and unconscious Niall. I gasp and then squeal when I see Louis unconscious also.

"Oh my God. What happened?" I ask.

"How should I know? I don't care. All I know is that I asked Louis for a favor and he didn't do it. So now I'm gonna take it out on you." Oh my god. He walks toward me and I scream at the top of my lungs.

"No! Please! Please don't hurt me! AAAAH! Some one help!! Please!" I scream.

"To late. You can blame your boyfriend for that. Oh looks like you got bad luck," he says looking away. "Because I am getting pretty hungry." He looks back at me with red eyes. They are a deep shade if red and there are ... FANGS?... Sticking out from his gums. My breaths get faster and faster and eventually I am hyperventilating. I turn and run. I don't stop. I turn and see that Zayn isn't chasing me anymore. I stop and put my head down, trying to catch my breath. I look up and see Zayn standing right in front of me. I squeal and turn back to the park he flashes in front of me. Grabbing me, he takes me back to the park.

"Zayn. What's happening? Why are you trying to hurt me?" He doesn't answer. We get back to the park and he turns to me and slaps my cheek. I grab it in pain. He holds me close and buries his face in my neck. He inhales and exhales deeply. I feel his fangs graze my skin and I freeze. I feel his smirk against my skin. I feel a horrible pain in my neck and I struggle.

"Let me go! Aah!" He throws me to the ground and looks to the side at Louis who is running toward him. Louis is about to punch Zayn but he grabs Louis by the throat. He throws him back and Louis gets up. He hisses at Zayn and his eyes turn red also. Fangs pop out of Louis gums like they did with Zayn. My eyes widen. Soon they are throwing punches and kicks all over. Niall wakes up and comes to help. Zayn throws Niall to the wall leaving him in pain on the ground. But not Louis. Louis is too strong. That's why I'm scared. My boyfriend could kill me any second. My attention turns back to the boys when I hear silence. Zayn is gone. Louis and niall both look at me. My hand slides to my neck and i look back at my hand. Blood. Louis and Niall walk toward me. I scooch back until I'm in a corner. Louis reaches for my hand and I don't take it.

"P-please just...just stay away f-from m-me." I stutter.

"Elenour love, we won't hurt you we promise." I shake my head.

"What are you?" I ask. They don't answer.

"What are you?" I ask again, frustrated.

"I'll leave you two alone then." Niall walks away and I look back to Louis. After a couple minutes he finally answers.

"I'm a vampire." He says quietly. I shake my head.

"No. No. They... They don't exist. No. Please tell me your joking." I plead. He shakes his head and steps closer. I step away and start walking away. In a flash he's in front of me.

"Louis. I-I can't deal with this. I'm sorry. I just.. I don't think I can handle it." I keep walking but he catches up.

"Louis just... Just stop. Please."

"Please I-"

"JUST STOP! LOUIS I CAN'T HANDLE SECRETS! YOU KNOW I CAN'T! SO WHY ARE YOU EVEN TRYING?! STOP!!" I yell. He nods.

"Just promise me you won't tell anyone?" He asks. Without answering, I walk away.

*Louis' POV*

Elenour knows my secret. I ask her to keep it and she walks away. Soon everyone will know and will be out to kill us. A tear escapes my eye and I turn to go home.

"How'd she take it?" Niall asks when I walk in." I shake my head.

"She won't listen." I say. Liam, who is sitting next to Niall on the couch says, "I'm sorry mate." Cassie is awake and staring at her phone, not paying any attention to what is going on. I shake my head and walk upstairs, laying on my bed. A tear escapes my eye as I realize I may never be able to see Elenour, the girl I love, again.

The door bell rings and I don't bother getting up. I hear voices but zone them out. There is a knock at the door.

"Come in." I say barely audible, while watching the ceiling fan spin. The door opens to reveal Elenour.

"I'm ready." She says. I get up and hug her. My face is buried in the crook of her neck and she freezes. I pull away.

"I'm sorry. Just please remember that I would never hurt you." She nods and sits on my bed. I walk over and sit across from her. "Alright so uh... We're all vampires. As you know and uh... I really don't know what else to say." I chuckle a bit. She laughs too. "Just tell me some of the details like... Your strengths and your weaknesses." She says and I nod.

"We all have different powers. Mine is that I can step other vampires' powers. Liam's is mind reading and healing people. Niall, he controls emotions and Zayn can hack into and control people's dreams."

"What about Harry?"

"Oh he uh... He mesmerizes girls and uh... Brings people pain." She freezes but slowly nods. "Okay so a couple of questions. First what happened in the park earlier? You and Niall were unconscious."

"Harry."

"WHAT?! Why would harry do that?"

"Whenever Harry uses his power, the good in him weakens and the evil grows stronger. Well, he used it on Zayn and the evil took him over." She gasps. "Don't worry I'll keep you away from him. I promise."

"Okay well second question: why was Zayn trying to kill me?"

"He told me that if I didn't try to kill Jolie then he would hurt my family and you. And I killed her but then I couldn't take it. So I brought Jolie back when I stole liam's power."

"Who's Jolie?"

"Harry's girlfriend. He's using mind control on her so she's in love with him even though he's evil."

"Okay and last question: are they're more of you." I hesitate but answer.

"Yes. In the woods."

"Okay. This is really confusing. It's a lot to take in."

"I know love. Just take it easy. I'll protect you." She nods and rests on the pillow. She drifts off into a deep sleep, as do I.
