The Night Terrors

Skylar's POV

Someone knocked on my bedroom door so, I went to the door and said, "Who is it?" "It's Dick. Can I come in we need to talk about tonight." I unlocked the door and walked to my bed hoping he wouldn't mention the night terrors. "Sky, You know Bruce isn't here and I don't know if I'll be able to wake you up this time so what's your plan?" "I don't know hope for the best and make sure nothing bad happens besides Wally knows about me but I don't know what will happen if I wake up with a broken bone you can say I told you so but I'm gonna try to stay up no matter what." "You know they will try to stay up with you. I won't be able to stop them." "I'll do my best Dick. Ok." After that we both left for down stairs I went to the kitchen while Dick went to the arcade.

After I got done eating I went to the arcade to see what everyone was doing it look like everyone was watching Dick and Wally play video games. So I got closer to them and said, "I'm playing the winner." They all looked at me and like I did something wrong. Because of that Dick took the win. When I started to play against Dick he got distracted and I won and then rolled my eyes when he wanted a rematch. I walked to my room and then Barbra knocked on the window so I let her in. She told me this, "Bruce told me since my dad is going on a business trip I could stay here with you and Dick. He also mentioned that some Young Justice League is staying to wait you two." I shook my head and sat on my bed. "Do you know what your going to do about the night terrors yet." I gave her a bat glare and then Alfred came to the door and said, "Miss. Skylar Master Richard and the young team wants to see you and Miss. Gordon in the arcade if possible."

We went to the arcade and I stood in the back while Barb went straight to the team and started to talk while they were distracted Dick and I headed to the bat cave and he said, "So were you the shadow I saw or were you at home. I mean when you say something you can understand German that's a lie. So I want the truth." "Yes I was and I don't care what you say it was fun. Bruce has made me train twice a day when you have fun. I want some action I don 't want to be a bat though. I'm fine with Bruce being my mentor but I am not going to be a bat or a bird." "Ok. then what or who do you want to be? Bruce let me pick my name so what's your's gonna be if you do do it." "Your mom called you her little Robin, right. So my mom called me her little Butterfly when my dad called me his little Mocking Jay, so I want to be one of those." "Butterfly or Mocking Jay that kinda makes since." Then someone was coming into the cave the way Bruce dose in the Batmobile. We are in so much trouble.

To my surprise it's Jason and Tim they see us and say, "You two aren't suppose to be down here when Bruce isn't in the cave you know." "Well hi to you to I'll be outside training if you need me." I say heading outside. For me that's our family. Being the only girl in this house is terrible. Being the only girl in a family of so called "Dark men" is harder than it looks.

After Tim got me in the house he made me go to the room and when I got up there Jason and Dick was in my room waiting so I said, "Not again with the night terror talk again. So when is Terry, Damian, and Tim going to join in this one." All of a sudden the door shut revealing Terry, Damian came in the window, and Tim just walked in out of nowhere. "I hate it when you guys do the bat thing. Bruce and Dick do it enough." "Do you know what your going to do about the...." "Kinda. Yes. No. Maybe. I don't know. Hope it doesn't happen tonight." After that they all left my room and then I got ready for bed and went to sleep.

Terry's POV

I woke up to screaming so I go check it out when I get closer to the source I see the team, Barbra, and my brothers at the doors of their bedrooms so I say, "Where's Sky?" After seeing Dick's face we all run to Sky's room. Wally and Dick are the first there all they do is stare at her when I got there I shook the shaking girl saying, "Sky wake up. Sky. Skylar." When she finally wakes up she starts crying. So I grab her and let her cry on my shoulder. All I hear her whisper is, "Terry sa întâmplat din nou . I-am văzut mor din nou . Era ca și cum am fost într-adevăr acolo . Are ea sau se va opri vreodată pentru totdeauna . Pentru că eu nu pot sta să treacă prin asta pentru totdeauna ." (Terry, it happened again. I saw them die again. It was like I was really there. Does it or will it ever stop for good. Because I can't stand to go through with that forever.)

She keeps crying while Barbra and the team goes back to their rooms. Once I know they can't hear us I say, "The pain will fade but the memory, I wish I could say it goes to, but it won't. Look I know tomorrow you are just gonna want to keep this off your mind by training all day but at least try to spend time with the others for me please." She shook her head and then the rest of our brothers got around us and we all stayed until our sister was asleep once again.
